MasterClass: Become More You

I have had my subscription finish and the account is showing “Reactivate”. But Masterclass has been attempting to charge my account continuously?! Their stupid KB says that account is set to cancel and all, and got a autogenerated email saying final attempt for payment, and if it doesn’t go through the account will be auto cancelled on 11th Jan! Only that it attempted to charge my bank again on 16th Jan!! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE

The content is great but the app needs work. Simplify the navigation so you can quickly and easily go back to chapters within courses. Please add a sleep timer so can set to whatever time you like and then it will stop playing. The redline to indicate played videos is not accurate. The courses themselves are excellent and thoroughly enjoyable.

Masterclass has changed my life, I’ve improved in so many ways because of what I’ve learned on it however, the app is unbearable. Worst app I have ever dealt with, needs to be sorted out.

Do yourself a favour and ignore all the positive reviews. I was given some kind of gift subscription by a friend a year ago. To access it, you have to enter your card details. Without warning (because who the hell reads the millions of pages of fine print), I was charged $180AUD for another year. The cost of the total subscription my friend paid for the both of us. It’s a total money trap, I used it for maybe 6 views the entire year and i couldn’t stand it. The over Americanised content made my ears bleed. And believe the other reviews - it’s a process to unsubscribe. You can’t do it through the app and then when you’re redirected to the website it’s NOT easy to access the actual login page. AVOID! Just YouTube it, there’s plenty of free content out there.

I’m in love with the content of this app but the screen casting feature is a nightmare! It constantly stops to buffer (every 2 minutes at minimum!) or just disconnects from my TV altogether. Pausing the video to allow for the video to load more does not seem to help the issue along at all. I don’t have this issue when casting YouTube. Now I am restricted to watching the videos on my tiny phone screen.

Quite often I have to restart the app. I have an iPhone 16pro and the latest version but the app remains glitchy

Good concept. I particularly like the design courses. However I find the app is very glitchy and often freezes or crashes in the middle of a course or while switching between sections.

Masterclass website make it impossible to unsubscribe!

I enjoy your content but your app is very buggy. I was going to give you the list of things that are not working well but there are so many I lost count. Is frustrating and sometimes I stop my learning my because of how annoying can it be to navigate in your app.
