Good content, poor app for offline
Downloaded content keeps on disappearing from the app after a day or so. Also, app doesn’t play downloaded videos in offline/airplane mode. Considering the price, I would have expected flawless operation...

the video stuck too often
the video stuck too often
Lots of bugs and over priced app.
I purchased MasterClass to learn new skills while I am commuting. The offline downloaded videos often fail or pause with “some technical error”. I sent emails to their support team with details and screenshots but they did not even reply back. Couple of courses are good rest of them are just okay. Totally not worth the fees especially when the product has so many technical glitches that hinders learning rather than promote it. If you really want to learn something , go and take some certified courses. It will be worth your investment.
Downloaded lessons not showing up
The app is nicely designed and the platform is amazing. However I’ve been downloading some lessons to prepare for a plane ride, and while testing I realized something wrong about the downloaded lessons and I believe it’s a bug or oversight. In order to see if I can actually view them on a plane, I turned off all internet (data & wifi), launched the app, and none of my downloaded lessons showed up. After a few tests I realized that in order for the app to even recognize the downloaded lessons, there has to be at least a moment of internet connection, which means for a plane ride I will have to launch the app before takeoff while I have internet and manage to maintain it active in the background. If the app is cleared from RAM and restarted I will need internet access again. I’m not sure why this is happening but I think it totally defeats the purpose of having a save for offline feature in the first place. I’m going on my flight soon so I’ll just have to pray that it works this time, but I hope this gets fixed soon.
