Bought the LED strip for my SecretLabs desk. The app will scan the first time but not the second time to pair. I go to fill out the support ticket in the app - all info filled in - yet I cannot click in the area to type my problem or send the support ticket. Thanks for wasting my time and money! Don’t buy the LED strip for SecretLabs because NanoLeaf doesn’t connect and there is zero support to help you.
App still throws 400 errors In 2024 and it does not work with a default major ISP router. Nothing fancy, just a lightbulb.
"improved things".... but still no portrait moden for iPad. one star until portrait mode for iPad is implemented.
DO NOT bother buying any nano leaf products, it’s like they hired a 12 year old kid to engineer their app. The app is so glitchy and buggy it actually doesn’t work at all and you can’t pair your lights correctly. Spent $200 on the nano leaf lines and hung them up and now I have to take all of them off and return these garbage over priced pieces of garbage. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating
It’s my first time that I wasn’t able to connect a smart device to wifi
I’ve been using this software for over a year and it’s bloody awful- my lights are often (several times a month) unavailable, requiring me to restart the app, turn WiFi off and on, restart my phone, and/or power cycle the lights- which only work with slow (2.4 ghz) routers. I have always kept my software and firmware up-to-date, but even so it usually takes 20+ minutes of struggling on average for the lights to start working again every time they flake out. Nanoleaf has good-looking hardware- but their software is horribly frustrating and disappointing, and I regret my overpriced purchase and sub-par experience every day. I’m running one strip, three lights, and a fixture with 22 light panels, and they all exhibit these problem with their proprietary software.
Godfrey needs to put this app out of its misery.
Not user friendly at all!
I have a mixed bag of various manufacturers bulb. The Nano bulbs are the most problematic.
