What is this!?

Revolut wants ongoing information on what business you’re in, how you make money etc etc. After you answered this they come back with the same questions every few months. Annoying.

Its so easy and fast transfer

Not Great For Small Business

I tried to open an account for my and my wife’s vof (general partnership) business. Everything went smoothly until they asked for a KvK UBO register extract to confirm the business ownership structure. Clearly, they weren’t up to date with changes in Dutch regulations because as of 22 November 2022 it is no longer possible to take extracts because of a ruling from the Court of Justice of the European Union. However, I presented them with a UBO registratie statement which the KvK gave me. Revolut saw the statement and said that it could not be accepted until it was notarized by a notary. I then paid a notary €75 to notarize the document that they said they would accept if it was notarized. When I presented the notarized statement I surprised to be told that it could not be accepted because it did not have the exact shareholders with the percentage of shareholding. Then they asked me to present another document of shareholdings and get it notarized/certified. I was frustrated that I wasn’t told this from the beginning and wasted €75 getting something notarized that they weren’t going to accept anyway. I didn’t want to proceed further. I gave up because I realized they’re probably not the best bank for small businesses AND they don’t seem to understand how things are different in the Netherlands.

Don’t use for any serious business

Account limited for months. They cannot validate the business after three years, because nothing changed

Al weken dezelfde foutmelding

Al weken de foutmelding bij het inloggen dat de app moet worden geüpdatet, terwijl er geen update beschikbaar is. Inloggen via de app is niet mogelijk

A dramatic customer service from the start without even 1 person taking responsibility.

Revolut gewoon slecht mbt aanmeld proces slaan ze echt door

Ik adviseer iedereen, ga niet je tijd verspillen, energie, frustratie, ze moeten nog wat moderniseren. Misschien over een jaartje als ze beetje genormaliseerd zijn.

They are lying

My credit card info got stolen and they should just cancel the payment but instead they say that there’s no fraudulent activity on my account and that the transaction could not have been done without my consent! This is not true in total about 90€ got taken of my account and the location is somewhere in India! I’ve never even been there!

super en gemakkelijk

Great UX

Tried many apps, like Bunq for business, Dutch banks, but none match the experience of Revolut Business. Also, their chats are answered within 10 minutes which is a huge plus compared to the 7 days at Bunq for a simple question. A good banking app can save a lot of time.
