This app is incredible! There’s no translation so from the jump you are thinking in the language you are learning and picking up the words. No more recall. The pronunciation guides are a DREAM. Its like im a child learning to speak for the first time!!!
not sure if the voice recognition is broken or there’s some glitch, but it wasn’t detecting me speaking at all
I am refreshing my Japanese since leaving Japan. The structure and repetition of the course is great but the speech recognition is hit and miss. Working on my iPad Pro, about 30 percent of the time it works and picks up my voice, the rest, it appears to hear absolutely nothing.
This is an excellent app to learn Polish. I’ve struggled with other applications as they rather basic. Rosetta seems to have made the learning process so much easier.
After hearing much praise towards the app, I decided to give it a try and purchased the 3 month subscription - with the price tag I had high expectations. Unfortunately as someone with sight impairments this app was not built with such a disability in mind. The pictures when originally showing the word and corresponding picture it is too fast and there doesn't seem to be a way to replay them. There is little enjoyment in this form of learning.
It won’t let me delete comes up with blank screens for help and to verify my email and found out it doesn’t work in uk. Delete my account please.

It gives you bits on the lesson where you have to say it and no-matter how correct you’re saying it says it’s wrong
Major issue with speech-recognition on the French course using Airpods on an iPad Pro. It appears to only pick up the sound at a quarter of the volume. Yet weirdly, it plays audio at twice the volume of all other apps - with the exception of 'listen and repeat' when it plays at a low volume. I've tried other bluetooth headsets and even using the built-in iPad microphones, but all give the same poor results. Recognition sometimes improves slightly so long as I pause for a few seconds before speaking in a very loud voice. However, it seems to have particular problems with not being able to pick up certain words; such as 'et', 'dans', 'qui' and 'la'. This is an absolute nightmare in the first of the reading/speaking-back Stories, L'été en Provence when it just comes to a screeching halt (literally) on the word 'et', refusing to go any further no matter how loudly I shout! So sadly, on an iPad, this app is not fit for purpose. I understand that on PCs, there is a microphone sound check/set-up, but there is nothing of this nature on the app.
I cannot understand all the posi e review for this app. First of all, the app might be useful if don’t have any exposure at all to the language you want to learn. In fact even the proficient level is very very very basic. I would say not more than a A2 so if you have a basic knowledge, please don’t buy this app. The user experience also is really improvable. The images are too small and you cannot see them properly. Really doesn’t worth the money you pay. Thanks
