Is there a way to turn off Bluetooth on startup?
I love my hearing Aides and find the app disappointing in regard to recording my well being. I looked at the chart once a day and it worked for a few months now it records perhaps once every few weeks I remain connected to Bluetooth which I love getting podcasts into my ears like young people but I do not know how many steps I take a day. Thank you Margaret
Quite often my app will not open on the iphone. Sometimes I can restart the iphone and it will work but lately that isn’t working. It make me wider why I have the app.
The hearing aids seem to work fairly well except for Bluetooth connectivity, which is terrible. I cannot find how to connect to my phone or my computer. I have no way to tell when the case needs to be charged. And if one walks more than a few feet from one’s phone while on a call, voice connection is lost. They have Bluetooth but, they don’t connect to Bluetooth on my devices. What’s up with that? In todays world Bluetooth connections should be top notch!
This is the slowest app I’ve ever seen. It takes almost a minute to update your well being and often fails to accurately reflect your wear time. And it never reflects accurate walk time. You would think, considering it’s supposed to work with your Signia hearing aids they could make it record accurate information. I’ll connect to the app when I put them in my ears and when I update the information a few hours later it lists wear time as 0:00 hours. What a lousy app for $4000.00-$8000.00 hearing aids. Really; is this the best they can do?
I’ve had these hearing aids about a month and a half. The signal assistant is terrible. The work with . it takes a minimum of nine steps to get anything done and then if you’re not happy, you have to start all over. I have constant ringing in my ears when wearing them and without wearing them and when I called the service woman Madison she says it takes a month for it to stop never heard of anything like this and I’ve had hearing aids for years. In my experience once I put the hearing aids in the ringing stops. The other day I had a young man sitting in my living room, no noise whatsoever, but I couldn’t understand him. I kept trying and trying to adjust the hearing aid so I could, nothing would work.
After getting professional assistance in getting my aids properly set for Bluetooth and showing how to use it, I am completely satisfied with it's overall ability to provide total performance controls.
The app frequently drops Bluetooth and battery connection icons, frequently requiring a restart to regain connection. The Bluetooth connection is weak compared to my Sony WI-C200 and AirPods Pro. Each Pure Charge&Go 5XIT Hearing Aids exhibits a flaky connection on calls and streaming audio if I put the iPhone in my pants pocket on the opposite side of my body. This is unacceptable as in this day and we use our hearing aids for more than just hearing speech, we stream day in and day out and simply cannot carry the iPhone center-chest all the time. If $200 earbuds can stay connected, then overpriced $5,000 hearing aids has better stay connected! Competing brands of hearing aids have Apple Watch support their app, why don’t Signia?
Often the app doesn’t start at zero in the morning. It might say I’ve been wearing them for several hours. Sometimes it says Updated 4 hours ago, and I was asleep then. I enjoy keeping track of my steps, conversations and activities, but if the app doesn’t start correctly when I put the hearing aids on, how can I trust the other numbers? I realize the wellness part is extra beyond the general hearing aid stats, but if we’re going to have it in the app, it should work properly. This is my second complaint about the app not resetting. Also, when I go to someone’s house and stay overnight, even tho I automatically have their WiFi connection, the app doesn’t keep up and is messed up for a couple of days until I get home.
