Signia App FAQ

Yes, Signia App is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Signia App legit?
🤔 The Signia App app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Although I’m happy with the fact that I can adjust sound on phone I’m also disappointed that I do not seem to be able to get all the features that app says are available. I can get assistance and manually adjust sound but that’s all. Wonder if it’s due to the fact I only have one aid
Good when working
Disconnects from Bluetooth for no reason then the only way to reconnect (I’ve tried all suggested ways) is to turn my phone off and on again. Randomly does not update well being for it says 20 hours. Today after switching on says I have Had them on for 10 hours not 1 hour. Sometimes says I have walked 80 steps all day my phone says 4miles more like it. Hope updates come soon to improve things this aids are not cheap please sort things out
Inconsistent
It seems that every two weeks I attend my hearing aid supplier to see if they can reset me. This often takes some time and they appear to do exactly what I do. I am often left for days not being able to adjust using my iPhone (on your list) which to a partially deaf person is not ideal Please help by fixing your app
Hard for me
Had to ask a friend to help setup not enough instructions and won’t link for
Me. Worst thing is it’s enhanced my tinitus so even louder! Horrible crackly sound when I touch my hair and glasses. Really not impressed.
Two hearing aids
The app works well and the only problem I have with it is when connected to two hearing aids. It’s fine as long as both batteries have a full charge but when one battery goes flat the connection to both aids is lost so the app cannot show which battery needs changing. I need to remove and check both batteries to find the dead one. With the old hearing aids I could send a signal to each aid separately to get an indication of how much was left in each battery.
The greatest benefit is being able to link the aids to the mobile phone. My wife is the one using the hearing aids and before getting the new aids she seldom used the phone, now she is quite happy to use it. All sounds and alarms sent by the mobile phone are now received by the hearing aids. Hearing aids are NHS issue.
2 features needed that the old app had
To set a pre program so your setting are saved! The old app had to programs that the volume could be set!
The ability to switch the hearing aids off within the app!
The old app had this ! Which saves having to partially open the Battery tray and then close to turn on ! Eventually causing the contacts to move !
Trying too hard?
There’s a lot of small sections in the user guide that actually don’t go into too much detail. It looks likecdd at someone has written it who doesn’t actually use it.
For example. The slider that controls the volume is fine but on returning to the application later the volume has reverted to 8. Happens on all three settings there’s no way of locking it at 10 or 11 say.
And it just assumes you know how to do stuff. I had to set my hearing aids manually. All the blurb about Bluetooth and it being automatic, doesn’t work. Disappointing.
Average at best.
Sorry but this app has limited features and irritating ‘back to basic settings’ Could do better!!
Brilliant
So easy to use and connect to the hearing aids. Great little app that allows control of volume, tone and direction.
Great app
Had some recent issues where the app stopped working on my XR. Emailed the support team who suggested deleting the app and reinstalling, which worked a treat and is now back to top form.
Thank you :)
