I’m very disappointed with the app when used with my latest RIC Signia HA . Doesn’t do what it says on the tin ! Bluetooth connection is variable - sound is tinny and callers are saying I sound very far away. Can’t always adjust the volume either The issue is probably with this latest RIC HA
The app occasionally lost the blue tooth connection fairly often when I started using it but rarely does so now. Quite happy with it.
This app claims to have been updated 2 weeks ago…. We are now on ios 15.1 and have been attempting to use this app since iOS 13…. Nothing has changed…. App still fails to keep Bluetooth connection… especially when I wish to stream tv.. What’s the point on claiming new software updates etc… bug fixes … new shiny interface etc… when nothing works… All this app is doing is taking up space on our phones…. Signia … STOP… working on your interface… and concentrate on the connectivity…. I have no problem with connectivity when the Signia App is deleted…if your competitors can do it maybe it’s time to see what they are offering…. In my opinion your app is RUBBISH
Will not connect to device no matter what I do. How was this approved for launch?
Disappointing to say the least. The app lacks so many key features that would make it far easier to use. I feel like i’ve been lied to as Signia proudly talk about their bluetooth capabilities within these hearing aids and this app but they just manage to fall short of lackluster. Not sure where to begin but hear are some features the app needs to add. 1. Make it so users can set a new default volume and sound balance that suits them. Every time i open the app it resets itself and i have to re enter the settings that suit me. It’s incredibly annoying seeing as it also resets itself when i switch between streaming music through my hearing aids and using the app. This feature alone would be enough to get me to like the app and it’s quite shocking that no one thought of this when making the app - or even thought it was a good idea? 2. Allow Users to create multiple programs that suit them. The default outside option is awful as is the default universal but when i lower sound balance it suits me well. If i could save new programs along w the default options so i could switch between them dependent on where I am that would be ideal. 3. Make an option to disconnect phone streaming through hearing aids while keeping bluetooth connected. (I’m not sure if this is relevant to the app - but music streaming is awful through my hearing aids so the ability to just turn that off while still being able to connect to the app would be ideal) Overall the app is only just useable. The contact support option is pointless as the robot can’t answer questions that Signia haven’t thought of themselves so bug fixes can’t be addressed with it and the battery check option is bad too - my right hearing aid was dead yesterday but the app was telling me it was on 60%. It’s hard to believe a piece of technology this expensive has an app this bad.
