Total waste of money. They do not work - spend hours trying to instal and connect. The app doesn’t allow me to switch them on and gives me a frozen screen every time.

Can’t get it to work and can’t find help

They are forever changing the app and for people like me who aren’t technically minded it’s too difficult to use - just as one gets used to the app and finds out how to work it they go and change it again - SO ANNOYING ! And we have yet another change ! Now every time I go into my list of lights ( now over 20) I have to wait until each one scans and updates before I can change times or any settings - the old way was much better when there was one update and it completed the task in one go. All I seem to do now is wait and CRINGE to see what the next update is going to be- Twinkly take a leaf out of Apples book and make things SIMPLE Please 🙏

Good idea. Implementation leaves a lot to be desired. - Will drop your mapping w/o reason (app update?) - If you want to use same device from two phones - you will need to map again - If you dare to take one of the photos in landscape your mapping might be 'on its side' / rotated 90 deg. And there is no way to rotate it after except redoing it. Overall, looks like mapping is something you should love to do on a daily basis to use it with joy. There are also features I would like to see, e.g. advice where you have lights too dense, or where you have an area w/o lights. Seems easy to implement compared to mapping. You may highlight lights to move, for example...

Great idea ruined by not being able to save the tree lights to multiple phones at the same time. Why not save the lights to the account after set up?

I love the lights themselves, and the recent updates to improve the reliability of updating playlists is appreciated, but the most recent update seems to have set things back again. I’m getting a lot of errors saving playlists, which often seems to crash the lights until they’re power cycled, and trashes the playlist in the process? Not very fun for something you expect to “just work”.

3rd year of owning Christmas Tree lights & 3rd year of struggling to connect. Lights are great when they work properly but is hit & miss on being able to connect, unfortunately mainly miss. If sorted this would be a great product & app, sadly at present it’s falling well short of what should be expected.

The app has stopped working and means you can’t access the lights or any of their functions. £400 worth of lights and you can’t even turn them on properly - utter disappointment! A repeated ‘compiling effects for this device’ notice pops up, but nothing happens when you try to ‘click’ on any option - from the ‘timer’, ‘on/off’ to the ‘gallery’ or ‘apply’. Was working fine until a few days ago…
