This app keeps charging me for a “pending” payment every single month, THAT I HAVE PAID. And they won’t even send me back my money, literally stealing my money every month, I have contacted them about cancelling the pending fee, as they already took over 15 pounds from me, and they said they resolved it, today I just got ANOTHER pending fee taken out of my bank, I have only used Uber eats ONCE and this happens.. rlly disappointed and frustrated, no one is solving my issue, what must I do to stop these pending payments and why can’t they send my money back since “the payment was done over 48 hours ago” this is really unfair
No food no call no ringing bad address and no refund (and no arguments)
We placed an order of sushi in Reims with Uber Eats for the first time, and it was a terrible experience. The driver did not call upon arrival and dropped the order at the wrong address (I have a picture of the wrong building as proof). Shortly after, the driver sent a message, to which we responded within one minute, saying we were coming. However, there was no bag, no food, and the driver was unresponsive.
I submitted a complaint to Uber Eats, but the response was dismissive. I was told there would be no refund, with no explanation or valid reasoning provided. I reached out several times to request a review of the case, as this was a €63 order—a significant amount—yet my evening was completely ruined, and I was left without food. This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing.
To make matters worse, Uber Eats has not even acknowledged my subsequent messages regarding the complaint. As a first-time user, I had hoped to become a regular customer, but this incident has completely shattered my trust in the service.
I sincerely hope that Uber Eats will reconsider and issue a refund for this poor and stressful experience, as it has severely damaged their reputation in my eyes.

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but my last experience with this app was ridiculous. I got charged $23 and some change for a package of chicken that was clearly marked as no more than $9 both on the app and on the package. The driver was fine, so it's not on him, but when I tried to address the issue, they said it was my fault for not keeping track while they shopped. Isn’t the whole point of placing an order so it’s one less thing to worry about? Customer service couldn’t even help.

I got charged double and never received my money back so I’m deleting this app
Complete Failure of a Service – Do Not Recommend at All!
I’ve used Uber Eats dozens of times, and every single time I’ve been disappointed. Not once has my order arrived on time – there’s always a delay of over an hour, which is completely unacceptable.
Customer service? Absolutely terrible. They end the chat in the middle of the conversation without offering any solution or compensation. This isn’t a one-time thing; it’s a systematic issue. It’s clear they just don’t care about their customers.
The drivers are unprofessional, and the entire service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I strongly recommend avoiding Uber Eats altogether!
Charged fully for cancelled order
We canceled our order bc the actual wait time was much longer than the wait time given before we paid. And still got charged fully. Bad business practices.
Refund issues
I don’t even know how long I’ve been using uber eats, years maybe? And I’ve had my fair share of issues with orders because that’s fast food for ya. I’m at the point where I’m “not eligible for refunds” anymore because “I’ve complained too many times” or I’ve gotten too many refunds, whatever they wanna say. This is just a simply ridiculous rule, if an order isn’t incorrect, of course I’m going to want my money back! I’m paying my hard earned money on something and if I don’t get what I was expecting, why should I be paying for it?! I’ve even had Uber One multiple times, been a loyal member to them. I’m done with this app. Very disappointing that you have a “limit” for refunds? Ridiculous.
