Wizz Air - Book Flights

This airline’s “cheap” prices are a trap! They have hidden charges and penalties that can easily end up costing you more than the original ticket price. They count on you missing the fine print in their terms and conditions, and it seems intentionally misleading. One example is the web check-in process. To do a free web check-in is almost impossible, so you’re practically forced to buy their paid add-ons. I couldn’t complete the web check-in for free, so I went to the counter, assuming I could check in there. But to my surprise, they told me that since I hadn’t done a web check-in, they couldn’t issue my boarding pass without an additional charge. I was shocked to be asked to pay a hefty fee of 8705 INR — the same price as my ticket! The worst part is that they only open the check-in counter 3 hours before departure, and you’re required to complete web check-in by then. So, if you don’t pay for the web check-in add-on and miss the cutoff, you’re forced to pay an excessive penalty. This feels like a deliberate trap, designed to catch people out and make them pay extra. This is the worst airline I have ever flown with. I felt completely ripped off and frustrated by their sneaky practices. Avoid this airline if you value transparency and fair treatment!

Downloaded the app as their website is under maintenance without a specific time frame. The app says it’s m not connected to the internet which is not the case. Garbage app not worth downloading.

I booked a ticket of wizz air from rome to Abu Dhabi & I have a onward flight ticket from Abu dhabi to India. And I also had transit visa of abu dhabi as per my layover. When I went to airport wizz air staff denied us to board the flight as we have transit visa of Abu Dhabi and not tourist visa. First of all these people don’t know anything about the visa process & requirement and the wizz air staff harassed us mentally even after we had all the correct documents and the required visa. Till last moment wizz air staff harassed us so much and they just said us we had a right to decide whom to allow and whom to not. At last moment somehow I managed to contact with the person from embassy and the wizz air higher authority. Later we got the boarding pass just before 15 min from the time of actual flight takeoff. Due to these bastards my parents need to suffer for no reason. Somehow we catched the flight and when we reached to Abu Dhabi we didn’t had any problem as we have proper valid transit visa and the onward ticket. Guys I am telling you from my experience don’t go with the wizz air. Even if you had all the correct documents these people will harassed you intentionally for no reason.

On May 17, 2024, while boarding a flight to Almaty, from Abudhabi Airport, I encountered an issue with the airline staff regarding the carriage of my drone. Despite regulations allowing drones weighing less than 250g to be carried in checked baggage after removing the battery, the staff was not aware of this rule. Their lack of knowledge, coupled with a rude demeanor, resulted in them not allowing me to place the drone in my checked baggage and spoiled the vacation mood.

I have bad experience with wizz air, really this company are cheaters, i book my ticket on make my trip, in ticket there is not mentioned any for online check in, i reached the muscat airport before 3 hours of departure, gate open only before 2 and hours, boarding pass gate staff told me you have to check in online, and i payed 16 omr, really bad experience
