Altogether is worth it but since you’re taking courses from experts there should be some type of certificate upon completing each course, so that users can share their progress.
You have to put translation in some major languages not only english
this is the first time ever I’ve left a review. I’ve emailed customer service numerous times asking for help to watch MasterClass on fire stick TV still I can’t watch it there now. I figured I would cast it to my TV because I want to watch it on my television. I took the plan so that I can watch it into places and I am very disappointed because the content is great but for whatever reason you guys cannot get the app to work everywhere so I’m stuck with trying to find yet a third Way to try to watch MasterClass, I’ve done everything.
Nothing I’ve listened to so far isn’t anything you can’t find on podcasts, YouTube videos, tv, etc….. nothing has been so monumental that it stands out from free resources. You don’t get credentials, you don’t get certifications, you just pay for most of these people to fool you into making them a lot of money for information you can find anywhere… not to mention who these people are and what they stand for. I’d like a refund, but doubt that’s possible.
I am a big fan of Masterclass but this time I had an issue and have been trying to get customer support and it’s taking too long and going into loops! Very disappointed at customer service handling subscription issues!
Could not cast lessons to a Samsung TV, so I simply won’t be keeping the subscription. I can cast everything else to my TV, but your app isn’t compatible.
Masterclass really has one of the worst gifting systems in place. Always causes a headache especially if you get a gift subscription and already have a subscription and their support staff is not great at helping with it unless you happen to get the right person. Just got another gift subscription and am dreading the process of trying to add that to my existing subscription. Already as I try to add it on it right away asks for a credit card (on a gift!!!) and the language seems to indicate I’ll be charged after my current subscription ends even though this gift should end extending it another year. What a headache! Way to make us all resent your otherwise good platform and the people who send us gifts simply because you haven’t figured out how to make it work seamlessly and easily. I’ve now let me network know to never gift me MasteClass again and I’ll never use their gifting option which just seems to be a plague. Should be easy and should just help us share a great platform but it’s not.
Pretty ridiculous some users, like me, are not able to renew their subscription. You’d think that’s the one issue a developer would solve double quick. Submitted an issue through the app a few days ago; no response. Pretty subpar service for a premium product.
