This was terrible. “An error has a occurred try again” every single time I tried to open up a chat with a person. I’m not about to be talking to an AI bot, 1/10 would not recommend.

worthless
i used this app to help me with depression but the therapists don’t seem to care and i tried the ai bot but after a while it wants me to pay to use it or wait a month even though i was under the impression that it was a free therapy app
Awful login security
No email clarification not just that but I’d added in my number earlier than cleared the site than i had to resend my number which it’s saying only one number can be used per acc like this IS my account
DO NOT PAY FOR UNTRAINED WORK
This whole app is a nice idea but the people you get connected to are a joke. It’s like their robots. No idea where you found these people but I would suggest some type of training or self motivation to make the app rotate how it’s supposed to. Seems like the listeners are just bored people who found this app and don’t actually know how to talk to people. Waste of time.
Some loose ends
They need to work on the constant disconnection that happens with the app. For me the app is constantly loosing its internet connection even tho my wifi works fine. Also they need to make it so you can favourite or add people especially if you’ve come across someone that really works for you. And they need to make it so you can delete messages, not just blocking a connection.
weird “therapists”
my “therapist” told me to hurt my stepdad very badly in his sleep and burn the house down to solve my problems. odd.
Used to good -what happened
I used this app a couple of years ago to deal with some overwhelming anxiety…. I got immediate and personal responses that really helped …. The last two times I’ve used this app I’m not sure I’m even sure I’m talking to a real person !!!
No one responds.
No one ever replies, or it takes crazy amounts of time for a response.
Glitchy Gargantuan Goliath
This is like the giant European car company of online therapy. What the world needs is a more specialized, dedicated space. One where people are able to actually take calculated risks. The chat doesn’t work consistently. It’s just a big awful mess. And they punish people for “acting out”. Honestly. Evolve! What kind of online support space punishes health issues? I find this to be nonsense and therefore I give one star. Hang in there, you people looking for hope. It’s coming. Promise.

This app can be absolutely amazing if you find a good listener. It can be discouraging at times trying to find said listener but despite that the app and site offer other useful features like guides and group chat sessions. This app really is what you make of it, if you are willing to hold on for a bit until a good listener comes around it can be very helpful.
