7 Cups: Online Therapy & Chat

I struggle a bit with sleep issues and all. And I have been helped a lot by this app. Deserves the 5 stars.

I stumbled upon you after searching for an instant online help while i was having what seemed to be an anxiety attack! The listener helped me relax and talk about things taking my mind off my anxiety. The only problem was the listener review window.. I couldn't scroll down. I use iphone 6.

😣 I-i- was a victim to toxic when I touched the app and left it 😖 some college students came after me n said they’d eat me I said woah.. uh that’s weird why would u eat a child 🤔 😭 bro byee go finish that and find a job weirdo !!1

This app used to be one of my main go to when I was feeling sad, but now it just depresses me even more. Every time I go on this app and I try to find someone to speak to. It is either someone asking me for inappropriate things or I get no response at all. Honestly, there is really no point to getting this app because you would just have it be sitting in your library because you are not even able to use it for its purpose because there are more than a few users. And if you are in English speaking person, it is a little bit of a challenge to find someone who does speak English, I’ve seen three or four English speaking people and the rest spoke different languages which is not a complaint by any means just a little thing to look out for or keep in mind when or if you install this app. I will most likely be uninstalling it soon because I’ve gotten tired of it just taking up space and not actually serving its purpose. But again I used to get great people who genuinely did help me and the time still was high, but at least I got to talk to someone unlike now where I put in and it hits the 30 minute mark and I get no response I cancel it and go onto the next person.

One of the listeners majesticlris18 and more will just leave the chat without warning. I only choose verified listeners with 5 stars. 95 percent of these listeners are horrible!

When my search for therapists and learning about sessions costing me $120 out of pocket and most places requiring once per week - I was exhausted. 7 Cups has allowed therapy to be affordable for me and it works with my schedule. The great part it is allows you time to reflect on things shared and tools gained over time. I highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling to find a therapist and having cost problems/insurance issues.

Just a criticism the LGBTQ section should not use the term MOGII which is a very controversial and recent internet term which has been used to encompass some very problematic things under the same umbrella as queer people, and it is not used by the LGBTQ community which has a long and strong history of organizing under the umbrella of LGBTQ way for survival in real life. Please consider removing this term “MOGII” as it is very offensive.

A few years ago I was on here when I didn’t have an actual therapist to talk to and this user I forgot his name started calling me creepy for no reason and cyber bullied me. I wanted to report him so badly. What a loser he is

It is full of ppl who get triggered by capital letters and child “therapists”, you literally get muted for venting in groups

Don’t bother try to sign up and all it gives you is no permission for EVERYTHING can’t even change your profile picture. Don’t trust it in your phone probably harvesting data.
