I’m so glad for this Apple app. I think it’s so far the best Apple has ever come up with. I love that you have more than 50 books free to read and how easy it is to download your own books for free on the web and that it automatically said to the Books app. I love the options to change your reading layout. I love it variety and how easy it is to adapt it to your comfort, I would definitely recommend it if you haven't checked it out. Check it now. 10 out of 10.
Books get deleted/offloaded and uploaded to icloud ALL THE TIME
Why do I have to redownload my books everyday? Why is there no option to turn this “feature” off? I love this reading app but I expect reading to be an OFFLINE activity. I can’t always have wifi to access my books! Please fix this Apple :(
M y app has only old books
Why does my apple book only have classic books. It does not even have audiobooks.
I like it but I want more
So far so good, but I just started reading in this app in early 2024 so comparing my experiences to other reviews, I could tell that the earlier versions were better and have more things available to users, so I hope I get to experience those as well.
For highlights, might I suggest adding more colors (or choosing our own color/gradient ourselves); I do hope we could also leave reviews after we finish a book; it would be better if I could interact with other users as well; and what I want the most is having a year-end record of reading time (not just daily, but for a WHOLE YEAR) so we could share just how long we’ve read to others ☺️
Hoping for Apple to consider these suggestions!
It’s Almost Perfect
The app has got all the settings I want in terms of color, font, line guides.
I think it’d be perfect with a few more added things like auto scroll and half bold font (for dyslexic or ADHD readers).
Add Option
I wonder if developers can add split view and double or duplicate reading on screen, it is useful on academic reviews. So limited.
Best reading app on ios
This by far the best reading app I’ve tried on iOS. It’s a simple, easy to use, and clutter-free app with streaks and book goals. Reading streak has helped me develop a habit of reading. Highly-recommend!
BIONIC READING
The app is already great! I just hope that apple adds a font for bionic reading.

I hope there’s another color to choose when highlighting. And different kind of line (I know it’s too much but I hope🤞🏼), though overall this is a good app! ☺️
Suggestions
I really love this app, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, since i have ios. I think we should have the ability to customize and mix and match, our themes, also, the button on the bottom right that serves as the settings, seems kind of off, maybe add the settings/menu on the top? So it wouldn’t be a quite a hassle. Thank u.
