Misleading subscription info
BetterMe app lured me in by advertising lifelong subscription. Once I paid for such subscription the app started making different “challenges” and meal plans paid as in-app purchases. Once I started paying for some additional challenges, suddenly my profile changed from a female one to a male one and the app uploaded only male workouts for me. The app won’t let me change my profile so I addressed the app support. They explained that the only way to change to a female profile is to reset the account and lose my lifelong subscription plan and app info and start anew. Wonder if all lifelong subscribers suddenly lost their personal data and were appropriated incorrect profile data.
