I was going to give this a three star review as an app because it’s fine but not worth the subscription fee. But after cancelling my subscription, I discovered money was still taken out of my account by MadMuscles. I complained about this but they refused to reimburse me. So, watch your account.

Not a good company with a bad refund policy . Infact avoid at all cost definitely run by scammers unfortunately

This is designed to take money from your account without your consent. In my case, I wanted to try out a work out plan for a month which was billed at £18.23. After consenting to pay this initial amount, I was prompted to click a continue button to proceed with the subscription process(no other option was available ) but unbeknown to me, it was a ploy to get more money from my account on the pretext that I’ve agreed to a menu plan for £23 and another plan for £35. Each time you click the continue prompt, money is taken from you account with no new prompt to agree to an amount or consent for the payment. (These extra plans are sold to you covertly) Be warned!!!!!! Don’t be a victim like me. I have written to them to try and get my money back and it has been more than 24hrs (as per their automated email) and I am yet to get a reply. I got a reply from Elizabeth like everyone else and the reply is generic like for everyone else. Stay away !!! I have tried everything to get part of my money back and I have been referred to a refund policy that in place to protect their con. Stay away from this developer. Check their other apps and you will see the scale of their scam

I signed up for a workout program which I was happy with. Before I’d even had a chance to download the app it was offering me all these extra products before I’d confirmed my first product. I ended up accidentally spending roughly an extra £50 on things I didn’t want. I contacted support who ignored me for 24 hours, when I emailed an email address I found on their PayPal they told me I’d purchased things in the app and they can’t refund me - but they can offer me 50% refund as I’m a valued customer. I havent even been a customer for 1 day nor have I downloaded or used the app. I tried to recreate the situation to show the person I’m talking to on support but it won’t let me recreate the situation without putting my bank details back in and accepting the initial package! So I’m at a loss. I’d like to show the company how predatory this advert on instagram is that I used to sign up, but I can’t without losing more money. But they also won’t refund me. It’s insulting.

Be warned: DO NOT purchase a subscription if you are in any doubt about the benefits of this app. It is very flawed but manageable, however, 3 days in I have decided it isn’t for me and went to request a refund. You have to use the app consistently for 14 days and then provide evidence and explain why, after having been forcibly committed to continuing with a product you know by then is not for you, it isn’t actually for you. It’s a policy that ensures most people cannot to will not claim a refund and demonstrates a very poor and consumer unfriendly business model. Bad vibes all round.

Filling in the questionnaire to begin with is great. I got an offer for three months which was great. All sounds good. Once the app was downloaded all I got was optional extra here, optional extra there. The large part for me was meal planning which was presented as if it was in the package I’d purchased. Sadly not. You must buy this. Just include it within the price of the package purchased. Speaking to trainer as I struggled with motivation, again which seemed to be in the package. Nope, only three minutes were free then I had to pay to talk to him. And in those three minutes i received two responses. Non of which were to help me achieve my goal. All in all, the workouts are okay but the rest of it is just a money trap.

I went through their quiz and specifically specified I want to work at home with no equipment but the program I was given was in gym with full equipment. When I went to settings to try to change it, there was no option to change that. When I paid for the app, it said money back guarantee, but when I contacted them and informed them about this, they said they cannot refund my money. so be careful one of these companies were there is lot of small print not to refund your money even if you didn’t use it cause it didn’t work.

Unless you know what you are doing, and you have equipment available, don’t use this app. Firstly you have to pay some money up front, and then you have to pay more money because there is no option to skip an upgrade. They are just stealing your money. Then you get to the first workout, it says no equipment needed, neut then tells you that you need dumbbells. Avoid
