We have several Miele appliances and often use the app to control them or check their status. It works… but it’s really slow. In particular, when I start the app and wait for the list of appliances to load (and then show their status), it feels like it takes a very long time. I also tried to provide feedback inside the app but each time it tells me I can’t send a message.
The App opened once and will no longer launch. I go to App Support/Help and your website won’t let me past selecting the Cookies option, no matter which level of cookies I select. How on earth is anyone supposed to use this App and if the App doesn’t work, how can we use the phone controlled auto functions for our appliances? I am really annoyed and super frustrated!
Its too slow
When it works it’s great, but 80% of the time it doesn’t work or appliances need to be reloaded all over again, such a hassle and a real pain. Expected better from Miele
Worked some of the time then an update killed it - opens to a loading screen and that’s about it! This was a couple of months ago, where’s the fix??
Since this app updated a couple of months back I can no longer log on, see my stovetop or oven, or register a new dishwasher. Really disappointing. It takes forever to start up, I can’t log on, log off or anything much.
I have purchased all my appliances over the years from Miele. My last purchase was a top of the range Washing machine and dryer, Worth more than $10000. Great appliance function's but the app development& testing team, should be fired. It does not even appear that the app ever been tested!! Miele was one of the first appliances manufacturer to develop intelligent appliances (Mielehome)even more disappointing to see them failing on the app. After sending a request to the service, I have received most useless generic reply to reset the application and follow the instruction. After repeating my complaint's I have got told that they are aware of the issue and the technical „ incompetent „ team is working on it and I will get notified once a solution is available. In my opinion I should be refunded a good chunk off the purchase price for a feature i probably never going to be able to use on my device but have paid for it in full!! I’m from Germany and I was always impressed with the family orientated approach from Miele. And the pricing strategy they use to follow, because they believe in there products. Would I buy Miele appliances again?? Probably , but with a very bitter taste and knowing that my expectations should not be raised with new products coming on the market. ☹️☹️☹️
The staff were excellent
I can only agree with the previous reviewer. Nothing about the app works and it does not sync with a brand-new dishwasher. Completely misses my expectations from Miele. Even this review is hard to write on an iPhone 13 Pro. Joke!
I really appreciate the efforts by the development team on this app. The latest versions are far more stable, user friendly and responsive. The constant updates being pushed gives me confidence that my investment in my appliances was worthwhile. Dankeschön, Miele!
