Is Miele app free?
Yes, Miele app is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Miele app legit?
⚠️ The Miele app app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This app provides great integration of all Miele appliances; overview of, and navigation between, is pretty good. As well, deep dive into the specific features and capabilities of each appliance is decent.
However, some glitches are present. For example, when my washing machine notifies, through the app, that the program is finished, opening the app will often reveal that the program is still running. Switching to another app, then returning to this app will correct the problem. Final example involves deep diving into some feature that will help me choose the best way to perform some function. I have gotten to the recommendation only to be told that it isn’t supported by my model! Ugly result, to be sure.
All in all, I do recommend this app. I believe they will fix these glitches, at which point I would most definitely upgrade my rating to five stars.

Keep getting unable to join network error during setup for all my Miele appliances… it’s pretty much useless…
Miele dishwasher G 7656 with auto dos
We had previous generation, same model Miele dishwasher (without auto dos) for 20 yrs and were impressed until it required repair at 20 yrs! We were advised to replace at that age. While I understand the market demand for remote connectivity, I find it unintuitive, less efficient to stack and louder than the previous one. Not impressed!
Not working like a German app should.
It crashes. It buffers for ages, despite a stable WiFi connectivity. It has logged me out a couple times… interestingly/coincidentally when I’m about to dash out and after enabling remote control . App knows what machine I have, it offers me recommendations then it tells me you can’t use those settings because I don’t have a machine with those capabilities. It whimsically allow or declines preprogrammed (delayed) functions. I have programmed a delayed start for the machine to do ‘clean machine’ cycle (I left the little cleaner inside) the door is locked and the button to run in 8hrs clicked… it randomly runs.
Machine is stopped, however the animation of watshing/drying is still on. Only hrs later I get a notification telling me laundry ready even tho by the. I have emptied the washer or dryer respectively. Bizarro much?

Poor Application
The application @miele is poorly developed.
Every month or so I have to set up the application again.
I’ve only had issues with this dishwasher that costs 4000$+ and since it s integrated doesn’t show the cycles or time unless the app is connected properly.
400MB?!
The app is alright, but nothing justifies it being over 400MB.
Just OK
The app keeps promising usage statistics but then they aren’t available. I would love to view the water and power consumption data. It is also a bit slow but works fine enough. Not super useful except to check when laundry will be done.
Good smartphone app
All works good, huge improvement from what it was before, the only final thing missing is the connectivity with other brands, as you won’t use 25 different apps for smart home, you need just one.
