MobileControl – keep an eye on everything
With MobileControl, you can control all network-enabled Miele domestic appliances quickly and conveniently using your smartphone or tablet. This means you can access your washing machine, dishwasher, or oven at any time and select the program, the start pre-selection or other options, for example.

FoodView – how are things looking in the oven?
A camera integrated into the ceiling of the oven shows you what your food looks like via your smartphone or tablet. If you need to, you can adjust the function settings on your networked oven via your mobile device.

CookAssist – the secret to perfect roasting results
Miele CookAssist not only helps you to cook the perfect steak, it is also available for a wide range of other dishes. Thanks to the step-by-step instructions in the Miele app, temperatures and cooking durations are automatically transferred to the TempControl cooktop. All you need to do is confirm the settings.

Food Service – order conveniently online
So that you can cook the desired recipe as soon as possible without any great effort, simply order the food you need online directly via a link within the app. To do this, select the recipe you want to cook and a link directs you to online retailers.

CareAssistant – fresh and crease-free for longer
Are you out and about and not able to take your laundry out of the machine right away? Don’t worry, your CareAssistant function ensures that it remains fresh for a long time. You can use the app to extend the Anti-crease phase by 30 minutes up to a maximum of three times.

AutoStart – programmed starting via the app
With the AutoStart function, your dishwasher can be programmed via the app to always begin washing automatically at preset times. Thanks to AutoDos and PowerDisk there is always sufficient detergent available so that the appliance can get to work autonomously.

ShopConnect – order cleaning products quickly and easily via the app
With ShopConnect, you can conveniently reorder Miele consumer goods and accessories from a mobile device. If your stocks of Miele cleaning products or coffee are running low, you will receive a Push notification. You can then order supplies from the app in just a few clicks.

Inconsistent

I’m still having issues using the app to start my appliance. This machine is far too expensive to have an app function this poorly.

Bad update

Recent update deleted all of my appliance data. How is that useful???

Extremely unresponsive app

The UI/UX for this app could not be more irritating. Seems to get constantly stuck on every page and still will not let me create an account to begin set-up…

App not working

I keep trying to use the app, which I have used successfully in the past and it won’t let me long in with my country of residence. Very frustrating. So much for a “smart oven”

Not intuitive + no notice on server work

It’s nice to see how much longer a cycle has. But right now I have to run a load with an extra rinse, which I apparently only can do from the app. But when I try to open the app, it either spins endlessly; says I’m offline (tho I’m online) or says the servers are down for servicing from 12 am to 3 am (without saying what time zone. I looked online, and that window works for Copenhagen.)

Changing, adding or deleting profiles on coffee machine

Poor application on phone. Super annoyed and still not getting my coffee right. Please make your mobile app user friendly. It’s missing a lot of basic options.

I can’t even get into app

After several minutes of loading I was asked my country but no amount of tapping or waiting is letting me pick it.

For G7176 (sold by Lowes) app basically only provides status

The app will not start a dishwasher cycle. It only can turn the dishwasher on and off, provide status and a notification of when the dishwasher is done cleaning the dishes. Stop pressing the “Now” and “Start” buttons because they don’t do anything for this model. What is the point of being able to turn a machine on and off if you can’t start a dishwashing cycle?!? The app is not very useful.

Live updates request

I don’t experience the same issues that other reviewers claim to have. Generally the app works just fine, albeit a little slow. A request would be for there to be Live Activities and/or Widget support. I have a washer and dryer and the ability to see how much time is left in the programs would be amazing!

Consumption Info

Hi. The prior release or two ago promised a monthly report of consumption info for the W1 Washers. And not surprisingly, it isn’t here. Consistently let down by your app and Miele.
