Monese - A banking alternative

Used this service for 3 years. Was a paid customer for 2 years. But 2 months ago they stopped processing top ups from my card saying that it’s a credit card, but it’s not. I stopped using their subscription. And tried to use bank transfers instead of card top ups. 2 weeks ago I sent 1000 EUR from my other account in other EU bank. They froze it and asked to provide some documents. I gave all documents that they needed, but the just ignoring my messages! I write them every day to in-app chat and support email, but 0 answers for these 2 weeks. Just stole my money. You are just thieves and robbers. Not a neobank.

They work for a very long time, the support service takes a very long time to respond, I sent so much of my data for a security check, I communicate with the support service, zero answers, wait and that’s it

Мне заблокировали счет без объяснения причин. Затем я получила письмо, что мой счет закрыт навсегда и я больше не могу открыть его снова в этом банке. Причины мне также не объяснили. Уже примерно две недели я пытаюсь связаться со службой поддержки клиентов, но мне не отвечают.

Terrible service. Bank lost money and can’t find it. I wanted to use my account as the main bank. But I realized that I shouldn’t. The support service closes the case without even giving an answer. Three weeks after the transfer and I still haven't received it. Never again.

I feel offended and discriminated by your onboarding process. Never again!

I have sent myself 500€ from another bank, but they didn’t arrive to monese account. They just hasn’t arrived and that’s all. Nobody can find my money now, not the sending bank, nor they. If money won’t arrive in one month I will sue them

I’ve bought premium service plan. Monese just blocked my account. Support team suggest to wait response from compliance team and don’t help. Money are blocked. Time is wasted. Maybe in few years neo-banks could propose better service. But now it is horrible. Think twice before open account in Monese. Revolut works much better.

I was transferred money via iban, the sender says that the money was sent immediately, but I don’t have it. Tech support answers every 2 days via chat and even less frequently via email. After 3 days of correspondence with those support, they answer that they do not work with the sender's bank. By the way - the sender has not yet received his money back. more than 5 days have passed. Bypass this application and in no case replenish it with money
