Proton Drive: Cloud Storage

This app has a sound basis but lacks a lot of basic features… decrypting larger files takes several seconds, there is no ability to swipe left or right to move through photos in a folder, and I am constantly getting the error message “file or folder not found” but no way to even know which file or folder this relates to

Does not like when 2 or more Proton Mail accounts have been set up: causes Proton Drive to log out semi-randomly. The iPad version doesn't work well (does not retain the folder you browse and resets to the root every time you change focus). Resetting the cache also clears offline files without a choice. Does not support search. Corruption of state and many other iOS issues with this app. No, it's truly a bad app.

Amazing app…but it recently stopped working on my iPad. I get an error whenever I open it in files and any other application.

I use all of Proton’s suite but am becoming increasingly concerned at how slow drive is. The team at Proton also treats mac and iOS users like 2nd class citizens, taking an eternity to roll out features they’ve had in their apps for other operating systems. Just look at this app for example. No update in over 9 months.

The main app works sort of OK, Files integration is garbage and whoever is responsible for it should be fired

The fix was promised to be fixed months ago. There are other issues but how can this be so hard to fix ?

Hello, Please provide Proton sheets, docs and slides as soon as possible. I am unable to transfer my business to Proton until then. And other solutions do not offer this privacy. Thank you, 5 Stars

Sign in then go to iCloud to copy a file to proton since the app doesn’t work only to get immediately logged out sign in again ♾️. Deleted app rebooted downloaded again problem continues. . . proceed to delete app, problem solved.

Still can’t view images / videos in landscape mode, bug was reported well over a year ago. App hasn’t been updated in 6 months.

Since Proton released their Proton Drive app for Mac I’ve been able to transfer all of my files from OneDrive to Proton Drive, and it works great. However, one or two improvements are still needed. The biggest one for me is the ability to “Share” files straight into Proton Drive on iPhone, rather than having to download it to your iPhone storage first before uploading it to Proton Drive. All the major cloud storage apps have this feature, and it’s strange that Proton Mail does appear as an option when you share a file on iPhone. Perhaps it’s just my iPhone, but Proton Drive doesn’t appear as an option when you try and edit which apps appear as options when you share a file. Another feature that would be really useful is the ability to sync your photos with Proton Drive. Again, this is a feature that all the other major cloud storage apps offer, so it would be great if Proton did too. The benefits of Proton Drive still vastly outweigh these minor inconveniences, but the product would be 5 stars when the developers add these features and the features that others have mentioned.
