Ring - Always Home

PLEASE FIX YOUR SLIDE LEFT/RIGHT FUNCTION!!! Ring gave an update again and this time, the slide function in rewinding and forwarding a recorded video is not as smooth as it was before. Movements are like in fragments as you slide left to right and vice versa.

Latest app update disconnects my ring door cam from my router after a couple of resets in my door cam and router I can no longer re-connect my camera to my wifi. Something to do with the handshake, connection protocol etc. and this app is so buggy.

We love the RING APP very much, how can I register our Ring System here in the Philippines? Thank you.

I love the new features of the ring app. Hope they can add more new features.

The chirp tones should have an option to be a voice alarm such that the base/keypad will tell you which door/window sensor is opened. For example if the garage door was opened, then the device should sound/say “Garage Door” instead of just having the chirp tones.

With the latest update, Ring needs to put a lot of work in their app and Ring devices’ firmware. One essential functions that needs to be included on the next update is to remotely reboot/restart or refresh their ring devices especially when the owner is not at home or in other part of the world and their devices is not behaving normally. Remote rebooting needs to be included soon!

I wish there is a refresh icon in the apps. For people that has RING devices that lives on the other side of the world. Specially for battery operated Rings. Most of the time it gets disconnected with the wifi but when we check other smart bulb it is connected to internet. If there is a refresh button the can remotely restart or refresh it it would help.

Ring currently has shows a separate volume slider between rings and Alerts however it doesn’t work. It doesn’t let you select the volume independently for each one which is a huge shortcoming. We should be able to have the ring on the chime at full volume, but have the motion alert on the chime be at a different volume setting.

Be careful it becomes a facebook app, every minute you will receive alerts about I saw a cat, coyotes, snake & is this a fireworks or gunshot. And your options is to turn off all alerts or listen to this all day. Have a security camera is way better and cheaper than ring app.
