I use an iPhone 15. When I am away from home and my phone is on cellular instead of wifi the ring app show a neighbors error. Neighbors app is not available on South Africa. My ring system was working perfectly before. If neighbors are not available in South Africa then maybe you should release an app version for SA. I bought this system because of our high crime rate and now my cameras doesn't work when we are not at home.
Not sure if I’m having finger problems. But I have both fibre internet and 5G internet at my house. I have 8 ring cameras, when the cameras are connected to the fibre line via mesh they work perfectly but when connected to 5G they do not. Even though the 5G is much faster and I use it on other devices. When connected to 5G it shows connected with good signal at each camera. Help please
I have thoroughly enjoyed this app. It is mind blowing how much peace of mind is security system like this can bring. One feature I wish they would add, is having the ability to swipe from camera to camera. Similar to how scrolling works on Instagram. A feature like that would be a game changer.
After buying a security camera and installing it, it now wants me to pay an extra subscription for the privilege of recording video. It allows recording for a short period and then demands subscriptions. Do not fall for this, it renders the products useless. A great example of a company who doesn’t get it.
Everytime when i open the app to either arm or disarm the alarm system it take forever and sometimes i have to close and reopen for it to work. Please can you get this fixed A.S.A.P.
The device is very slow to open up to live view, it mostly hangs and doesn’t connect. My wifi is very strong so it has nothing to do with that. This is a big draw back because the point of having a camera is that you can see instantly!
Still no homekit integration.
Don’t waste your money. One day it works the next day the device locks up for no reason and no matter how hard you try, the app won’t reconnect the device. Then on top of it, it stops loading your locations. Stay away, get a refund if you have already bought a ring device.
Great product and apps! Please can you add more snooze durations to apple watch app; 2h, 3h, 4h.
Look , the concept and ( when it works ) the camera features /screen clarity is brilliant , BUT , why can’t things just work ? Keeps freezing or can’t connect . Now before you blame WiFi or reception , my router is the top of the range asus with a range way over where I’ve placed the camera with very few obstacles between , and as for WiFi , it’s fiber , the best . So no excuses , please sort out the software and make your device reliable .
