I enjoyed the app and its functionality. The sleep deficit tracker is a useful feature. However, I've just cancelled my subscription because the app ruined my battery after only a year. The battery consumption during the day was very high and I could hardly get through the day with my still relatively new phone.
I downloaded this and decided to give it a go using the free trial first - otherwise it is £60 per year - I have used it for two nights via the nightstand method - it tells me I slept as an example 8 1/2 hours last night - shows as this amazing amount of sleep however it did not record that I woke up about seven times - I was awake for around four hours in that 8 1/2 hour period - so I don’t know what the difference is and if you have an Apple Watch, maybe it records all that ?? But I do not have one of those and it tells me using the stand feature that it listens all night and you keep your keep your phone on next to the bed - I was thinking maybe it listens to my breathing and noises et cetera in order to determine even if not completely accurate when I am awake and when I go into a deep sleep - but it has done nothing - just tells me I had a wonderful 8 1/2 hours sleep 🙈 this is not the kind of app I am looking for - so unfortunately I will be cancelling my free trial and removing the app. If you are a good sleeper and you just want to keep a record of when you go to sleep and when you wake up - when to stop drinking coffee - and an app to tell you when you might feel groggy - then this app will work for you, but unfortunately for me, I am looking for an app that tells me about my quality of sleep (or lack of) hence the reason why I downloaded it to give it a go in the first place 🥰
Feel quite let down. Cancelled my subscription in app, I registered on a card so they can handle this as a refund customer. And, in the time I have requested a refund, they charged my card again, 5 days earlier than the usual renewal. Feels quite immoral. Won’t be using again, is a shame as the app is good, I’m not getting as much value as I would like.
The amount of times that alarm did not work for some unknown reason is scary! I can never rely on it. I have to have another alarm from my phone set up as a backup!
It seems like a very well put together app but asking for me to subscribe at £60 a year before I’ve even used the app is an instant uninstall. I know there are 7 days free and 1 month at 99p to start off but £60 a year just feels too much. A real shame!
Very easy to use Very cheap for first month Already helping me
I gave this app a go. It told me I need to sleep 10 hours 45 minutes a day, and to become a morning person, I need to go to bed between midnight and 1am! Doesn’t seem right to me.
Or maybe it just never really worked? Seems to set everyone’s sleep time to 8 hours and 15 minutes. It’s used 3 years of my sleep tracking data and even though ku average sleep time is 7 1/2 hours and I never sleep more than 9 hours, the sleep app has increased my recommend sleep time to 9 hours and 15 minutes. It also randomly added 8 hours to me sleep debt one night even though my usual sleep was recorded. And it doesn’t always pull the data from my Apple Watch even though the watch data is correct in Apple health - instead it uses nightstand detection which is ever accurate. So now my sleep debt increases every day and all the prompts, sleep reminders and melatonin window are in the wrong place. I’ve been trying for almost a month to get an answer from rise support but just get their standard “we will respond in 1 day” answer. Will be cancelling my subscription and moving to a different app. UPDATE: the response from Rise below says to contact support but I have been trying that for last 2 months and not getting any response
You will need to pay and why can’t it just be for sleep like me Christmas is coming up and I don’t have money to pay this so why don’t put it for free and the thing I like is that it gives you stuff to answer at the start so they know how much sleep you need
