Network error
I am a new user today but the app always have network error today. I tried very different networks and it is not working. I can’t use my new EarPods! Sony, could you fix the problem?
Sony WX1000 speakers
Ongoing trouble with headphones switching to silent if I gulp or try to sing or talk. Can reinstate with clicking the bottom button but that is not the point At less frequency but enough to be irritable. The Bluetooth switched off and difficult to restore unless disabling and reconnecting. One week ago the right speaker has ceased to work. No idea how to troubleshoot this. 05 Feb 24
Do Not Update Your Device Firmware Unless
unless you absolutely need to. Case in point: there’s a lot of complaints about the 2.0.1 firmware for the WF-1000XM4, specifically, how it’d cause the left unit battery level to drop to empty abnormally quickly, even from a full charge. Those complains have been around for years. I figured, it’s been so long, surely Sony would have fixed that, right? I mean, it was their flagship earphone. Nope. Updated my XM4 to 2.0.1 and I still got hit with the battery drain problem. Sony don’t care.
Impossible to register an account for optimise switching function
I tried to Sign in with Apple ID, I don’t know why it will continue to asking my details and set up password. Although I’m fine with this, turns out I typed everything, it shows me ERROR without proper explanation. I already retry once again and for now I just give up. Useless !
Cannot connect to earphones
This is extremely not user friendly. It can identify my WF-XB700 to connect. Uninstall and install few time still not working. Useless app

after updating both the app and my sony account information, I still can’t log in to my account on the app
Can't use with iPad
When the program is opened, it will soon be automatically forced to close, which cannot be used at all, and the headphones cannot be updated.
Latest firmware update broke the WH-1000XM5. No long work well with Spotify.
If you connect the headphone to two devices, the audio will keep pausing until you disconnect the other device. This was not an issue before the firmware update.
