Do not get this app!!!!! You can book directly through the actual excursion and get a better rate!! This app has more expensive rates and they are horrible with customer care!
The tour guide canceled our half day tour four hours before it was supposed to start because they couldn’t get tickets for a museum that we weren’t scheduled to visit. Then they would not reply to my messages. I’m working to get a refund. Fingers crossed but it seems sketchy. Be careful.
Our guide named Champ was so informative and engaging. They were so prepared for our tour by providing large umbrellas and avoiding major puddles! It was a highlight of our trip

Took advantage of 3 tours and events from the site, and all were great. Provided tickets to unavailable events too. Great tour guides so far too. Would recommend this site and will reuse.
I’ve used this app for bookings multiple times and it is clear that the management of the Viator company is sorely lacking. First of all, if you book a tour through this app instead of directly through the institution, that institution will treat you like a second class citizen in most cases and put you in separate lines that are deprioritized and overcrowded. This leads me to believe that Viator grossly underpays and/or takes advantage of its partners. It’s also been very misleading on what’s included in certain tours and what isn’t. In these cases, the tour company will usually advise that they have contacted Viator numerous times to correct the issue and update the description, but they ultimately haven’t been able to get the issue corrected with Viator. Then, when you contact support regarding this issue, you get absolutely no response. My recommendation is to book locally and directly wherever you can.
