Installed application and booked Copenhagen tickets easily and at a good price!
Used this app, To book 2 tours on our last holiday to Vienna. Due to a conection problem ended up double booking one tour. On contacting Customer care they were efficient and sorted out the problem swiftly.
Do not get this app!!!!! You can book directly through the actual excursion and get a better rate!! This app has more expensive rates and they are horrible with customer care!
The tour guide canceled our half day tour four hours before it was supposed to start because they couldn’t get tickets for a museum that we weren’t scheduled to visit. Then they would not reply to my messages. I’m working to get a refund. Fingers crossed but it seems sketchy. Be careful.
Our guide named Champ was so informative and engaging. They were so prepared for our tour by providing large umbrellas and avoiding major puddles! It was a highlight of our trip

I’ve used this app for bookings multiple times and it is clear that the management of the Viator company is sorely lacking. First of all, if you book a tour through this app instead of directly through the institution, that institution will treat you like a second class citizen in most cases and put you in separate lines that are deprioritized and overcrowded. This leads me to believe that Viator grossly underpays and/or takes advantage of its partners. It’s also been very misleading on what’s included in certain tours and what isn’t. In these cases, the tour company will usually advise that they have contacted Viator numerous times to correct the issue and update the description, but they ultimately haven’t been able to get the issue corrected with Viator. Then, when you contact support regarding this issue, you get absolutely no response. My recommendation is to book locally and directly wherever you can.
If you select a time first then update the number of people in a tour, and that time cannot accommodate the number of people, the app will choose for you the previous time without a warning or message. So if you want an 11am tour and the other time is 9am, and you add 4 people after making the 11 selection, and then the 11am doesn’t have space or something, the app will default to the 9am time without your knowledge. If you make through to checkout without noticing there is nothing the support team will do to make the booking right.
