Latest update fails to monitor heart rate, even though other apps do.
It has a good user interface with the information laid out well. One request is that there be an option for the heart rate zones to sync with the heart rate zones generated by the Apple Watch. The heart rate zones generated by the Apple Watch changes monthly depending on the user’s metric. So it’s nice to not have to periodically manually update the app’s zone if I want the app and the watch’s zones to be consistent.
Love this app! I used the free version for awhile but then upgraded to pro because I wanted the extra zone to show up. I wouldn’t use one that required a subscription - I appreciate that I could just buy it outright. It’s really helpful to just be able to glance down at my arm and see what color zone I am in. I had tried others that gave the heart rate, but in the middle of an intense workout, I didn’t want to have to either hold my finger on something that measured my heart rate and/or do the math to make sure I was working out hard enough. This really simplifies it so I can focus on the workout rather than on calculating my heart rate.
I’m a pretty casual runner and have used this app for years in free mode, and have had great use of it. I recently decided to pay the $8 for the pro version, partly to customize the HR zones, but partly also out of gratitude for such a clean and great app. Never had any major problems with it. And I also really appreciate that the pro version is a one-time payment and not a subscription.
I downloaded this app and paid the $8 to upgrade to Pro. There is very little functionality with the free version. The data it pulled in about heart rate zones from my Apple Watch is incorrect. Like I can look in the Apple Fitness app to see that in one workout 100% of time was spent in HR Zone 1, but the Zones for Training app imported data on this same workout showing that the workout was all in zone 2 and zone 3. Can't trust the data aggregation unfortunately.
The zones do not match apple. This app is not using the heart rate reserve method and this should be an option.
I paid two days ago for the pro version. Although the app synced the purchase from my phone to my Apple Watch, the watch says free version. Beyond that it has recorded nothing, although all permissions are on. Feels like a waste of money and time (trying to figure out why it isn’t working). Both phone and watch are compatible with the app.
I paid a one time charge and have had this app for over 4 years. And it keeps getting better. How?! It tells me exactly what I need to know about the quality of my work outs, my recovery, and my overall health. Spot on!
My Strava app auto populates to several other apps with intern populates to this app so it will get entries for the same day squing the results it’s on ride at 1:7 minutes not three
Love the app it shows me everything I need to know in cool and easy to understand graphs
