Deliveroo: Food & Shopping

I really needed some water in London but my order got rejected twice in a row and had to go all the way down to the shop to grab water bottles. Typically I am happy with this app services and drivers but when you need, got rejected and don’t even know what was the reason why is not cool.

When I try to search restaurants with keywords, the screen always come across hang up. I cannot do anything but restart the app. Please rectify the issue asap.

The delivery person always works several houses, so the meal is well past its prime at the time of delivery.

Although I was offered 1£10 off voucher for my first order, it did not accepted at payment. I spend more than £40. App itself is easy to use.

Misleading always about delivery times they tease you with before they take the order, tine gets adjusted outwards as soon as they have your money, and then constant delivery time drift as you wait. No ability to call them, they deflect you to the restaurant, who in my experience are not at fault, rather it’s the Deliveroo driver logistics that are the problem. Good luck in trying to claim a refund. There is no way to get a grip on them, to explain what happened. Government based Consumer protection doesn’t effectively exit anymore. All you can do is leave a review like this. But the executives who allow this to happen should be held responsible, financially. It’s fraudulent in my view, I’m deleting the app, and stocking my fridge.

After waiting for a long time, the food I ordered was not there. I don't know if it was a mistake on the part of the store or the delivery person, but even if I wanted to contact the company, there is no phone number listed, so I had to go through the refund procedure for the undelivered items myself on the app. If you reorder food that you did not receive, you will naturally be charged an additional shipping fee. Estimated delivery time was seven times extended. Since the app chat function didn’t work, and cancel also cannot be accepted, I telephoned the restaurant, and found that the food is ready but for almost an hour riders has not been found…. My elementary school daughter was really hungry, and I had business flight early tomorrow morning. Finally, the Fatburger restaurant staff tried to deliver it, and Grab driver came after 110 min without 2 milkshakes… Salad sauce was also missing, but we began to eat around 22:10. I won’t use this service anymore.
