Ridiculous customer service
I ordered on a restaurant and their power supply suddenly failed. So the restaurant called me to contact Deliveroo to cancel the order (I cannot cancel on the app as the app showed the food has been prepared, the restaurant cannot either as their PC is out of power. I contacted the customer service and s/he just repeated the order cannot be canceled because food has been prepared. I finally persuaded the CS to contact the restaurant but shortly after s/he just replied again that the food has been prepared and cannot be canceled!! Before I replied further, the CS just directly ended our chat!! It was such an awful experience. Meaningless contact with the CS and waste of time!!
very bad support
I had several bad experiences with the deliveries and the support team was not very helpful and refused several times to cancel an order that was taking 2-3x times the expected time.

Change the name then… delinquent convicts. If you can’t function in a country where your name is from it should be rebranded. Or maybe steal some Kangaroos to take to England and join all the other stolen things in the museum.

Terrible in Australia
I paid extra for express delivery and it came 1.5h later than the estimated time. They did not refund the express delivery fee.
On top of that, the order was wrong.
Worst experience
This the worst experience. I spent time adding groceries to the cart. Then waiting half an hour for the order to arrive while message received they packing my order. Then the app sent me message that they are sorry they can’t accept my order. Worst app. I prefer talabat app as they are reliable.

Cannot understand how this is one of the #1 delivery food apps in the UK. There is certainly room for a better app to take over! Customer service and easy of support should be central to the apps service!

PLEASE TAKE THIS RIDICULOUS APP OUT OF APPLE STORE IT THAT BAD ITS NOT EVEN IN OPERATION ANYMORE. Really dodgy I see a lot of negative reviews so why is it say 4.6 lol that doesn’t add up soooo.. many 1-0 stars. I think I might give it a miss BYE FELICIA!😊
