Die neue App is grauenhaft, iTunes funktioniert nicht, man kann keine Songs mehr direkt listen lassen, abstürze, etc… Update 23.08.2024: seit neuestem funktionieren weder iTunes noch Spotify! Bring back the old App!! This is BS!
It crashes all the time and takes ages to load songs. Worst “upgrade” ever. Would not use unless I had the speakers.
The worst app for steaming music. Roll back to the old app and fix this crap internally!!! Great speakers though but useless through this new app
1 star for the rest. Other than the app being a disaster the sound quality of the Era 300 is not great. The excellent reviews the speaker got is either written by tone deaf people or were incentivised to do it. If there are any hidden potential in the speaker that can be unlocked by software they better start shifting budget allocation away from marketing to R&D else Sonos will not be relevant in 2 year’s time. I am of the opinion that most are disappointed with their money spend. For me, fortunately, I only brought 1 speaker. I was always wondering why Sonos don’t publish technical information on their speakers, but like others I was taken up by the excellent marketing of their products.
Just won’t work with Apple Music. The speakers are just ornaments.
Takes a long time to detect stations.
Keeps loosing our speakers and I have to continuously sign in which doesn’t always work either. After many years of happy sounds (except loosing speakers due to system being too old which was costly) those we know have the same issue. Even the letter from the director was hard to view as the app auto kicked me out of start page due to not finding my system… sort it out quick guys
The new app is a total disaster. Be sure to read reviews after May 2024 so that you can make an informed decision before buying into this arrogant incompetent Sonos company. The latest version is even worse, if that is at all possible, as it completely drains the phone battery in the background. Avoid.
The latest version of the app is horribly slow. Makes the whole experience really frustrating.
After weeks of “rond neuk” in my native tongue, the app is still crippled ito functionality compared to the old app. Why break something that was not broken Sonos?
