1. I have been charged for a six month subscription, even though I asked for the free trial. 8fit support blames Apple for this. I have been using Apple products for over 10 years now, but have never had this problem before, even though I’ve subscribed through my Apple account before. 2. Why do so many workouts feature meditation when they’re not yoga or mindfulness or meditation-based workouts? If I wanted to meditate, I would use an app or select one of the relevant workouts from the list. In short, I’ve been charged for something that I cannot afford and that wastes my time with useless filler material during what could be a proper workout.

I have just learnt that in July 2018, the health and fitness service 8fit suffered a data breach. The data subsequently appeared for sale on a dark web marketplace in February 2019 and included over 15M unique email addresses alongside names, genders, IP addresses and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes.

My concern right now is you not informing your users that our data(email addresses, passwords, location, ip addresses) have been sold on the dark web and is being used by hackers? I received an email from one of these hackers treating me with my information.

Challenging but rewarding

Fitness was always a challenge for me but with 8-Fir I am led through warm-up and cooldown as well as the entire exercise and it feels so rewarding

Easy to Use, customized workouts and eating plan

I really enjoy this app because the system and exercise and eating programs are easy to use and navigate all of which are completely customizable. I enjoy that the workouts are laid out based on your fitness levels and goals. I however like further developments to the profile section showing different colours on the days you worked out or logged a meal from your program. I would like to be able to go back to a certain day and look at what workout or meal I ate and be able to edit and change these as I go because life happens and sometimes you forget. I would also like the meal logging system to be more intelligent for meals that aren’t on the program - ie have a database with foods and their caloric and nutritional value. This will aid in making the food logging more motivational as you can always keep track of your calories intake as well as your workouts even if you go out to eat or don’t stick exactly to the eating program. This can also be developed further in adjusting your workout program according to what you eat etc. In terms of the workout program, sometimes the workouts seem a tad short and I would like to be able to make them longer and just more adjustable in general. Maybe an option for more reps if you have the strength! Also a guideline of how many and which type of exercise we should aim for each week would also be great - ie goals - 2 sessions general cardio (running, skipping, spinning) and 3 sessions HIIT exercises per week. And then 1 recovery session? You guys have such a great thing going with the customized food and exercise program according to your specific goals , but you can make it near perfect with these tweaks.
