Disfunctional digital processes.
bad user experience for non-US travelers
Almost useless for German travelers. Once you select your country to Germany during payment process, you MUST use the German website, enter all details once again. You won‘t be offered Upgrades there. When you later on try to manage your flight and want to upgrade within the App, this is again only US-domestic stuff. Does not accept non-US credit cards, does not accept ApplePay with non-US cards. Really a mess! Change your name to “For Americans Only Airline”.

Don‘t waste your time trying to create your account or even trying to find your trip as a guest. Nothing in the app works!
Almost perfect
The AA App is offering great functionalities. The only thing missing is a „where is the aircraft currently“ function, please include going forward. Thanks :)
Offers upgrades which are not bookable
The app offers upgrades which can be selected but they are not bookable, they cannot be purchased. The in-App chat with support does not help forward as they could not access the fares offered via the app. Conclusion: AA, offer only such features which function well and do not beta test on your clients.
Nur Probleme
Probleme bei der Buchungsrefenz zu finden und Boardingpass wird nicht angezeigt, ich kann es nur ausdrucken. Für was ist die App jetzt gut?
Worst airline - just line the app
The app is laggy, shows old/wrong information. Also American Airlines in general is just a bad choice. Check-in often does worm. Flights get canceled all the time. Chat takes ages to load, bad user experience everywhere.
No transit option
Forces me to fill out every time I transfer in the US, and forces me to input an address where I’m staying in the US when I’m just transiting inside an airport, and then blocks me from checking in as a result.
