Firmware update over the air
You can access your dashcam through a direct connection via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can access all the videos stored on the dashcam's microSD card, adjust the camera angle, and modify BlackVue's settings as needed. You can also apply firmware updates wirelessly (FOTA).
BlackVue Cloud is a dedicated service for BlackVue users that allows you to access your BlackVue from anywhere at any time. Creating a BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating an account, you can register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue in the app and configure it to connect to your hotspot.

For the money you spend buy something decent

What a joke this brand is along with the app! It should be simple yet it is absolutely ridiculously difficult and it never works property ! For an item that is for emergency situations it is NOT reliable

Very poor…

I only successfully connected to the camera via wifi once. I think other than the most expensive price, the company wants to get more from the subscription. Good camera but disappointing app

But I can’t. So I give it a 1. Poor poor quality app. Terrible navigation, and user interface experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Don’t even buy a BlackVue honestly, this app lets the whole brand down!

Absolute Rubbish

Every time there is a new update , camera does t recognise battery pack , apps doesn’t work probably etc. I am about to get my cameras removed and go with a more reliable camera and app options. Support is a waste of time also !

Good but

Software is good, but it does not have dark mode.

Cloud based garbage

Should be illegal to lock people out of features to put them behind a cloud paywall. Potentially is in my country. Never buying from them again. There are cheaper, better options everywhere

Connection keeps dropping out

Connection between phone and camera keeps dropping out when downloading videos. Numerous bugs in software. Please fix.

Faulty

I don’t use the cloud system. Rubbish app, can’t access videos, you have to essentially setup your camera each time. The absolute opposite of user friendly. The developers have given up by the looks of it.

Session expiry

Ever since the update, I have to keep logging in every minute. Why have such short session expiry? I barely get to look at the footage and then I have to log back in. I might as well throw this camera in bin.

Useless

It worked well initially and it’s downhill all the way. Cannot get a wifi connection ( says VPN is the problem) Deleted VPN and still cannot view videos . What a pain!
