All our classes are science-backed and bring you the latest research in mental health. Every video is designed & developed by a leading clinical therapist and best-selling author on CBT, Seth Gillihan, PhD.

Your safety & security are our #1 priorities. All journaling entries are encrypted and saved in the cloud. Nothing is seen by humans. None of your training data is shared with third-parties or outside partners.

The team at Bloom understand how helpful cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be for folks who need to improve their mental well being. DO NOT USE BLOOM IF....
CBT and digital options like Bloom aren't a fit for everybody. If you're suffering from severe depression or anxiety, Bloom education alone may not be the right choice for you. Bloom cannot and does not diagnose, only a medical provider can do that. If you are in need of a treatment plan, please seek care under the supervision of a medical professional. We are not a clinic, nor are we a medical device. We hope that you get the treatment you need.
WHEN SHOULD I USE CBT?
CBT can help people with depression by giving you tools to challenge the negative thoughts and override them with more realistic and positive thought processes. CBT is also used to help many more psychological problems. In some cases, other forms of therapy used at the same time may be recommended for best results.

DOES IT WORK FOR TRAUMA?
If you have been diagnosed with PTSD, your provider may have suggested CBT. But if you were diagnosed with cPTSD, your medical professional may prefer you to use a DBT program. At this time, Bloom does not offer DBT.

This has to be the best app I have come accross. I’ve been using it consistently now for a few weeks and can feel the change in my wellbeing. I have a better view of myself, am more assertive, have a different way of dealing with things, and my insecurity and anxiety levels have decreased. I feel good, happy, content, and I haven’t felt this way in a long time. Thanks for this amazing app - and Mike is a perfect coach. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing. 🙏🏽

Charged me $71 for FREE 7-day trial

I’m sure the app’s great but unfortunately I’ve had to cancel, report and request a refund after they charged me $71 the very next day after subscribing to the trial period. Seems to be a recurring issue for them, according to the other reviews.

I’m so grateful that these guys decided to make an app so anyone who needs mental health support can access it. I’ve done CBT before but because the appointments are often a week or more apart by the time I got to the next appointment I’d forgotten what I’d learnt the week before. With this program I’m learning everyday and it’s finally starting to sink in and make sense. I’m getting better at calming and grounding myself, I can also “catch, check,change” when I notice I’m thinking not so nice thoughts about myself. And Mike ahhhh Mike what a sweetheart. I’m glad I chose him as my guide as his manner is gentle and kind and I’m happy to see him every day. Well done people for making such a difference in millions of people’s lives. You should be very very proud of yourselves.

This app makes me like everything’s gonna be okay. The way its presented, the topics covered, the strategies, the way it helps you understand your own thought processes, and the calming manner in which the guide speaks, with the soothing background music. I highly recommend this app!

Annoying prompt asking for feedback after very session

Can you please stop asking for feedback on the app after every session. After 20 sessions it would be fine but every session is very much a nag. Great app but this part feels poorly executed.

Fantastic app, frustrating bugs holding me back

Love this app, has been helping me through a crisis, it’s the first time I have found cbt helpful because I finally grasp the concepts. I was using it as a daily practice on a month subscription and was planning on subscribing for the full year but the bugs almost make it unusable at times. Some icons don’t respond without tapping lots, when I set my host to the female it resets to the male the next day, the daily habits get stuck on one random numbered day, I had the same daily mantra for ever. I really loved the healthy habits ones and want to be able to access all the content. If they could fix this I would recommend it to everybody.

i like this app but i wish it would’ve been made available to all MacBooks. i have the 2020 macbook just before the one released with the m1 chip and am so annoyed i can’t get this on my MacBook as well. three stars.

I did the 7 day trial months back and I shouldn’t have stopped but decided to try live without it. I should mint have so I've come back to it and already feel much better.
