DO NOT USE BLOOM IF....
CBT and digital options like Bloom aren't a fit for everybody. If you're suffering from severe depression or anxiety, Bloom education alone may not be the right choice for you. Bloom cannot and does not diagnose, only a medical provider can do that. If you are in need of a treatment plan, please seek care under the supervision of a medical professional. We are not a clinic, nor are we a medical device. We hope that you get the treatment you need.

WHEN SHOULD I USE CBT?
CBT can help people with depression by giving you tools to challenge the negative thoughts and override them with more realistic and positive thought processes. CBT is also used to help many more psychological problems. In some cases, other forms of therapy used at the same time may be recommended for best results.



DOES IT WORK FOR TRAUMA?
If you have been diagnosed with PTSD, your provider may have suggested CBT. But if you were diagnosed with cPTSD, your medical professional may prefer you to use a DBT program. At this time, Bloom does not offer DBT.

So good, but no new subscriptions?

I find this app to be the only mental health app which has truly helped and educate me so far. It’s really disappointing that it’s not taking on new subscribers for the pro version as I was just starting to believe in this journey and now I feel I’m back to square one. Disappointing

Doesn’t work

I downloaded the app and couldn’t access any content as I got a pop up that says, “as we wind down our services we’re no longer accepting new subscriptions.”

Support don’t respond

I have emailed support and had no response, tried emailing again. How do you get the programmers to restart? For example, life long learning has 14 days. I have completed all 14, now it just reward day 14 over and over again. How do I get to go back to day 1. Paying for this app which does not have adequate support or help.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I think this app needs one. I found this by accident and was sceptical but it’s so good. The way the app reflects back my thoughts in a more structured way that makes sense. It give exercises to do to help the anxious mind and programs of videos with ways to do what I think is CBT (not that I am an expert). If you need help making sense of your kind and are going through a rough time. This really is the app for you.

Does not work as advertised

App opens videos that have inaudible audio and bad speech. I could not find tools just people talking. Does not conform to CBT standards of UK as I have experienced.

I used a trial for this a couple of years ago which helped navigate some difficult situations. I’ve been wanting to try it again for a while so so purchased a subscription for a month and for the last few days it’s been helping again 😊 the old content still appears to be available which is also a plus! A couple of issues though! This newer version means the courses now have day-by-day access and the remaining content is locked until the next day. For a paid subscription I think this is ridiculous! You can easily navigate back to old sessions if required-locking them makes little sense unless it was a free app. Can be glitchy at times with the videos. The sound seems to work fine, not sure if it’s the app considering others have had similar issues! I think this app is great if you need temporary CBT help, not sure about long-term help at this point. I would consider an annual subscription if needed!

Keeps crashing, can’t open app

Lose the AI !!!!

I’ve loved the app for the personalised contents and CBT sessions. Actually I like everything about the app except one thing: the Ai !! It’s so weird, scary and dangerous to put peoples deepest thoughts and inside to be processed and advised by an AI. It’s grotesque. It’s put me off massively. You can’t ask a computer to personally deal with human emotions it’s so insane by nature ! It’s so against everything linked to mental health. I hope everyone reading thing can be alarmed and stay away from that trand, and hopefully get them to delete that function.

Great content - App is awful

I have been using Bloom for about 18 months and I have to say that the content is great. However what really let’s it down is the App itself - whoever is responsible to releasing App updates should think about another career. Far too often new versions are released that don’t work properly, are glitchy or you simply can’t access what you want ie you do ‘The Morning Show’ series of 24 and everyday you get the same video. The latest version of the App looks very nice, but it is far too over complicated and it is a step backwards in terms of functionality. If it doesn’t improve over the next 6 months I might not renew my subscription.

I would have previously rated this app 5 stars. It has been an invaluable support tool for me. My yearly subscription is coming up for renewal but I’m unfortunately thinking of cancelling due to the new update. My daily habits have gone. Well they’re still there, but not the ones you select for yourself. You have to scroll through all of them now and there’s no real way of keeping track of which ones you are using. The AI thing has stopped working as well the last few days. It won’t generate my daily advice. So it’s kind of becoming a bit of useless app to be honest. Which is a real shame as I used to tell everyone about how good it was.
