EpocCam Webcamera for Computer

Use the free app is ok. But when i pay the pro version, got high cpu usage and it stops working. And sometimes my camera on desktop turns green. And when i want click the desktop to run the program it doesnt load. At times wheni adjust the camera its not able to work!!! When i save my settings it went missing!!!!

I purchased the EpocCam Pro 2023.1.1 installed in IPhone 14 Max Pro but found audio is not working. I’m using Camera Hub Ver 1.8.1 in Windows 11 laptop. Apprciate your help.

So I’m pretty pleased with how EpocCam works…that is, only when Camera Hub is working on my PC. Half the time, when opening up Camera Hub, it seems to freeze and ends up ‘Not Responding.’ To remedy this problem, I often have to uninstall Camera Hub and install it again, not once…but MANY TIMES! I don’t know what’s causing it to be so buggy but I hope Elgato can do something to make Camera Hub more stable.

I have purchased this app, and tuned the color I need EXTENSIVELY for the Clean AR Lens!!! And after an auto update of this app, that lens is Gone!! How could you simply remove lenses like this?? Your app is marketed as a webcam app. People purchase and tune the color of their webcam because they want better image quality. I am sure there are many others who are affected if you simply remove lenses like that! If you put back the old lenses, I’ll change my rating. Else, a note to others, purchase and use AT YOUR OWN RISK! You could spend hours tuning your image, and in an auto update, all your hard work of tuning and white balancing your image is GONE!

Initially, I was using the free version and was quite impressed with the app. So I went ahead to buy the pro version. A day later, the video feed now has massive delay and unusable regardless of whether I use USB to connect or wifi. A quick internet search also show that I am not alone. Many of the people are facing same problem. So it’s just a waste of money in the end.

I used to be able to connect my phone to my computer via USB with this app. However after the most recent updates, that stopped working. I’ve tried updating the EpocCam drivers & iTunes on my PC, & even my phone iOS but nothing seems to fix it. The wifi connection is so laggy that it’s completely unusable, so now I have zero use for this app after paying for it. Only used it around 10 times too before it started giving problems. So disappointed, thought that Elgato was a reliable brand. Hope that this can be fixed. Devs don’t deserve to eat!!!

Easy to use, I like the auto green screen.

I am unable to connect it with my computer sometimes.

Easy to set up! Using my old iphone to transmit video via wifi to Ecamm on my Macbook

App is good but needs to be registered as a running app on the phone so the phone dosent shut down while using the application
