What was once a useful tool in adding books to my library turned into one that’s annoying to use. The ISBN scanner isn’t that reliable now; it either gives the wrong results or none at all (despite the book I’m scanning has a clear and correct entry/record in Goodreads). I hope this gets to be fixed soon!
First of all, I love Goodreads. Been using this app for book tracking since 2016/2017 maybe? I love that it helps me keep an organized list of the books I want to read, currently reading & wanting to read. I love how it tracks the start & end dates and also the percentage of how much of the book has been read. The only thing I wish though is for an option to integrate or link other e-book readers (like Kobo which is what I’m using) to it so I can also sync the parts of the books I’ve highlighted over time.
My only complain for this is is why there isn’t a dark mode for this???
It’s a great app but I find it eye soring looking at a white/bright screen for some time. I wish it had a dark mode to be added too.
It could be better but it is not.
Maybe if you allow users to follow/subscribe to other’s shelves ill rate u higher

I love you Goodreads but please it might be time to redesign and make the user experience a bit smoother, exciting, more pleasing to the eye? I’ll do it for you lol
