Goodreads: Book Reviews

I never stat a new book without searching it on the app and reading the review and ratings. I follow readers that have the same intrest as me and that make it fun to see what they read and enjoy. The app keeps me consistent on my reading goals. I set a new goal every year and love exceeding the target.

Please just add one

Accidentally deleted a book because Goodreads had marked it as 2x reading session. I tried to delete the one session but it ended up deleting the whole book. Not so much angry at the book deleted but can I have my reviews back please. How do I restore everything I said about the book???

Goodreads is a great app for tracking one’s reading journey, planning what to read next and for sharing with others. I recommend this app to readers wherever I go and love to see their reading journey too.

While Goodreads is a valuable platform for book lovers, there's room for improvement. The formatting options could be more user-friendly, and the inability to directly upload photos from devices feels like a missed opportunity. I would love to see updates that focus on enhancing the user experience and fostering a more engaging community. is long overdue. I always have to look up what symbols I need to be able to add images, links, etc. I can't see images I've used on the app, I need to log into the desktop version to see images. The app could be more interactive than “like” and “comment”. I can't even like someone’s comment in an ongoing interaction. I've got to comment in order to show I like their comment. Why this hasn't changed confuses me.

Goodreads is such an awesome and helpful platform to facilitate keeping an online library and keep track of your books, notes, wish lists, reading goals and more. Highly recommended, even if you aren't a regular reader.

During the last two weeks or so the app has been incredibly slow, and would crash unexpectedly while I’m reading or waiting for search results to load.
