Are you supposed to buy the book and then read and it and keep it updated on the app?
I thought i would just get to read books for free on it but i when tried to read a book i only got the reviews and to update my status. But other are saying they can read it on the app like WHAT THE FLIP FLOP
Horrible layout
Is this really the best possible layout for such a big app? Why is it so complicated and looks like microsoft edge in the 90’s Technology is so much more advanced and this is the aesthetic they choose?

Jag använder denna appen för att få inspiration till läsning, få ventilera om vad jag läser, få tips om böcker (eller avråd) och hålla koll på hur långt procentuellt jag kommit i en bok. Varje gång jag funderar på att köpa en bok kollar jag på Goodreads för betygen här är verkligen ärliga, vilket jag ÄLSKAR. Så intressant att få veta vad andra människor tycker om ens egna favoriter osv. Stort tips om du söker en app som är tillägnad för världens bästa ”res-maskin”, nämligen böcker.
Like others have said: TERRIBLE UX
Terrible UX but nothing to compete with = no desire to improve. Please someone develop an alternative to Goodreads that doesn’t work like something that came out 20 years ago

Great app! The only thing I miss is the option to give half-stars
Great at its core purpose, lacking in ux
I love good reads, its just a bit clunky - like buggy and slow and odd ux at times.
