Great for keeping track of your books. How many of us have thought that a book title sounds familiar and then realize 40 pages in that, yes, indeed, “I did read this book already”? This is why I use Goodreads. It is also a great community of readers, you can see what your friends are reading and it will suggest books to put on your “to read” list.
I love this app though I’ve been having trouble when scanning bar codes for a while now. Hopefully it’s a bug that will be fixed
Who would have thought King could be so funny? I listened to this a couple of times and it was not what I was expecting. He does eventually add some pointers on how he writes but don't buy it for that. Read it for the sheer joy it will engender and the big smile it will put on your face. I found it such a blast I've given it 5 stars. He narrates the audible book himself which adds a lot to the experience. Even though It's been many years since I read this, I still smile when I think of it and whenever King comes up in conversation I ask them if they've read this, and if not I tell them what a surprising joy this book is and tell them it is.a must short read. He's not at all what you'd imagine, and that's a good thing.
For an app about books and not have a dark mode?? I can’t use it at night it’s so bright!!

Look I love the concept of Goodreads and use it. But it needs a major overhaul. It looks like it belongs in 2012 and that’s because it is— it still looks the same 12 years later! 1. We need a reread option and they should count toward the yearly goal. 2. We need a lot of bug fixes. There are a lot of glitches. It crashes often and I can’t see my friends’ reviews a lot of the time. 3. It needs to be easier to find friends and book suggestions could be stronger. Pls fix this so I don’t move to story graph.
i would give goodreads 4.5 ⭐️ but because the appstore ratings only consisted of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 stars it’s misleading. goodreads should update to atleast .5 and if they really want to improve even .25
