Goodreads: Book Reviews

I have given this app 3-4 hours and gave up. It kept rearraning as "read" books that I logged as "want to read" and viceversa, the worst is that it kept removing from my "reading" section the 5 books I was currently reading. The scanning system never worked, no ISBN code for non-english books could be found (for an app that apparently has access to the amazon database this is preposterous), and way too often it couldn't identify my exact edition, although it's recent ones. I do not recommend wasting time with this app.

Ho mandato più e-mail all’assistenza, ma niente. Non mi arrivano le e-mail per il ripristino password né mi fa cambiare e-mail. Non mi era mai successa una cosa del genere. Help!

Quest’app la uso di solito per tenere conto dei libri che leggo e che vorrei leggere e, qualche volta, aggiungere un commento personale e interagire con gli altri. A mio parere, però, è estremamente obsoleta nelle interfacce, nei comandi e nelle funzioni social. Vista l’utenza, io migliorerei almeno queste piccole-grandi cose che fanno la differenza nell’esperienza dell’utente, senza però intaccare l’essenza dell’app.

L’applicazione sa di vecchio. È fatta malissimo per gli standard moderni (e intendo negli ultimi 10 anni!). Grafica antiquata, nessuna funzionalità in linea con gli aggiornamenti di iOS. Sarebbe ora di dare una svecchiata al tutto. Le risorse sicuramente non gli mancano, ma evidentemente non gli interessa finché la gente non passerà ad altro.

App molto bella, aggiungerei anche la possibilità di creare un grafico per capire quanti libri sono stati letti per ogni mesi, magari dividendoli per categoria

La grafica di GR si è fermata a 20 anni fa, adesso dopo tanti anni sto valutando altre opzioni. Difatti è l’app più popolare ma non per questo la migliore…

Sarebbe un’ottima app, attualmente è sicuramente tra le migliori per registrare le proprie letture, ma vive di popolarità. La grafica è sempre quella, non c’è la possibilità di mettere i mezzi voti, il recap di fine anno dei libri letti è sempre la stessa minestra trita e ritrita, non aggiungono nulla di vagamente interessante da anni, e io sono registrata su questo sito da anni e anni, davvero troppi per contarli.

Preferirei che aggiungessero nelle recensioni le mezze stelle ma per il resto è fatta bene

I really like this app because it reviews not only books in English, but also books that are available in Italia and French and all other languages. Unfortunately, I do not understand many of the other languages and I do realize that some of the books are only available in those languages probably because the authors are from those countries, And it makes me want to read them. I really hope that editors or distributors consider this app when deciding which writes to which books to buy, and make it available to the broader public. I also must admit that when choosing a book I first read all the negative comments. See how many there are exactly and then decide whether or not I’m in for the purchase. Simply because when someone loves the book, they love it, and they have nothing but wonderful things to say about it, which at times makes them blind to the flaws, so this gives a comprehensive view into a book and that’s what I really like about this app and platform
