Goodreads: Book Reviews

For a better experience I'd recommend using it on your PC. The movile version has a lot of bugs and it is constantly lagging. When you open all of your notifications, the tab that shows the amount of notifications doesn't change for a time. Messaging is uncomfortable. There is also a lack of options that are available on PC. The bookshelves are also hard to manage. The scanner doesn't always recognize the books you are trying to find. I still like the app because it helps me to keep track of my own reading activities and follow my friends in theirs. It's fun. And, in my opinion, it's the best existing app for readers.

I love this app. You could find every book, which you can’t find in other apps, however I just do not understand, how could we read the books. Or we just look at their names.

How can i use this app ? I don’t understand

This app has been around for over a decade, and there’s still no dark mode? Please.

I miss the old version of the reading challenges, I liked seeing if I was on track for my reading goal this beta version doesn’t do that. This app is soooo good and I’ve had it for years and the old reading challenge looked better. I do like the achievements idea I just miss being able to see all the books I’ve read and whether or not I’m on track to reach my goal.

I have been using GoodReads to track my reading and find new books for over 10 years. In those 10 years the app has changed very little, if at all. It’s time for GoodReads to have a major update. Allowing users to rate books with half stars would be a good starting point! GoodReads feels so outdated.
