I’m a person who always struggles with something- and usually, those are inner struggles. Some of the app’s meditation courses, specifically the one about change, helped me understand my mind better, stop at times and rest my thoughts and brain.
One thing that I remember about this app, is that it used to be free. One of my best advantages about this app is that it wasn’t just about money, it was about finding what you needed when you can sleep or focus. Now I can’t do that without a “free two week subscription” then $69.99 for a year? This has to be a joke.
Daily dose of vitality if you will!
I have had to dispute this on my credit card for the last three years. I’ve contacted headspace and canceled and I still get charged every year.
This is a really nice app to cover the basics of meditation and lead you through a gentle guided practice. This is my main use for it. My only critique is that it is very pricey.
I started using headspace in 2018. It was great. Simple and helpful. I eventually canceled because all of the marketing distractions. Fake “surveys” of customers who have nothing but glowing reviews forced into my wake-up feed every morning? I’m already paying. What is the point of this? Excessively complicated and drawn out menus that take up so much irreplaceable time. This was a great idea that seems to have been taken over by the same corporate advertising techniques used to force alcohol on children. Still looking for a meditation app that doesn’t scream “an MBA was here”
Headspace is helping me focus on myself, especially with the physical sensations of anxiety and stress. I’ve used other meditation apps in the past. The only thing missing for me here is the ability to include gentle background music during meditation and exercises.
I was a longtime user of headspace in the early days and recently subscribed again. It doesn't feel at all user friendly - I need a map! Lots and lots more content which is good, but it just left me feeling completely overwhelmed
Just another app that grabs you into au subscription fees and makes it impossible for you to unsubscribe. If you can even find where to unsubscribe they still keep charging you. Stay away from headspace once you sign up you can’t get out!!
