Headspace: Sleep & Meditation

Absolutely horrifying experience - was charged IMMEDIATELY despite being advertised a week long free trial. My card was debited without my authorization and I was charged €57.99c and when I tried to get a refund I was DENIED. I contacted the developer and they stated there’s nothing they can do despite my proving to them that I cancelled immediately and I was charged on day one. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEVELOPER THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.

It’s very beneficial to have pragmatic instructions on understanding what a human being is about - rarely are we ever taught in school that the chatter in our mind is normal, but can be managed or it can grow out of control. Dealing with stress, parenthood… those are other very important areas that Headspace has thousands of bite-sized videos about. Unfortunately the videos cannot be aired onto a smart TV - that would have been super-convenient especially for the videos on yoga and other workouts. Only the audio can be aired to a smart TV, which is awkward if you are trying to follow along workouts from the screen of your phone. While other spiritual teachers and gurus use a lot of vague language sometimes within an esoteric atmosphere, Headspace transmits the same self-help messages in tangible and doable ways. Perhaps the user manual on the human condition is the Headspace app.

A great app for guided mediation. It features plenty of specific meditations perfectly suitable for your daily needs together with helpful animations and insights into the world of mindful meditation!

One thing that I remember about this app, is that it used to be free. One of my best advantages about this app is that it wasn’t just about money, it was about finding what you needed when you can sleep or focus. Now I can’t do that without a “free two week subscription” then $69.99 for a year? This has to be a joke.
