I don’t want this app and they have charged me for a subscription of 1 year. I’m trying to get out of it and I can’t because I can’t unsubscribe from the apple store, which means that as the first time they are going to renew this subscription without my authorization!

I have found CBT to be very helpful but to get the most out of it (at least for me), I really need to write down my thoughts, mental distortions, etc. Historically, paper and pen simply take too long and I quickly fall out of the habit. Moodnotes has been a game changer. Data entry is fast and easy, especially since I can use the dictation feature on my iPhone for the text fields. To top it off, the interface is attractive and uncluttered. Great job!

Sad that this app is paid for but the widgets have been broken for over a year. The UI has a bunch of black corners like they used incorrectly formatted images. Everything else is fine but this makes me less likely to use the app since i dont like the widget and the widget is the main way id get a remind for a check in

Awesome app.

good app but once you delete it, ALL your entries get lost, no sign in, no nothing, how is it CBT if I can’t see my progress. a lot of good features are paid based unfortunately:(

Mood Notes checks all the boxes: The user can enter as little as a mood ranking or add as much about context both via check box and free text as one would like. There is an optional prompt to evaluate the thoughts contributing to the mood as well as an optional follow up opportunity to reframe and re-evaluate mood, all based within a CBT psychoeducation framework. The data is stored only on the user’s device unless they choose to export it. There is the ability to chart trends and notice patterns. I’ve used the app for years and love how it has evolved- I recently started tracking my mood again after a hiatus, and the app has even more features I’ve yet to use since picking it up again about a week ago.
