The only fault is that the app stays in portrait mode on my ipad pro, making it difficult to manage.
Great app easy to use very informative
DB have closed whole lines but we had to find this out after because Omio had already sold us train tickets for long cancelled trains on lines that DeutscheBahn have already closed to repair. Had to get the bus from Munich to Salzburg in a rush at our own expense, and the less said about getting from Stuttgart to Munich the better. I know you can’t hold them responsible for the german train network but they should have a disclaimer about it when selling tickets, or at least try to keep up to date with DB’s madness.
I bough train tickets with cancellation insurance however failed to refund them when decided to cancel the trip. XCover does not respond to claims either. Better book from the direct train company.
Ticket stated departure of 1515hrs didn’t leave til 1615hrs. Then got on bus and air conditioning (28-30 degrees on board) not working, usb ports not working.
Can’t seem to work out how to get seats allocated together.. needs work.
We have had issues every single time we have booked through Omio. Not only did they send us along on an incredibly dodgy 18 hour bus that we found out was known for being a very unreliable company… we have just had multiple of our trains cancelled. Obviously this isn’t Omio’s fault, however, they are promoting companies that are incapable of providing reliable transport. DO BETTER!!!
Omio is so simple to use and sorts the complexity of high speed intercity, regional and urban transit. Real time up dates, maps and bookings all in one place. Love it.
I tried to book a train ticket. To make a profile you need to input you birthday as DD MM YYYY and it will be displayed as YYYY MM DD. However when you go to buy a train ticket it asks for your name and birthdate again, but in the format of typical American date (ew gross) and makes you in put it as MM DD YYYY. And then when you go to book it, it comes up with an error stating the date on the ticket and the date on your profile don’t match….. Despite it being the exact same date…. In two different formats…. That they force you to do. I don’t know who programmed this but I could write a better one with my eyes closed.
