Industry Leading Security Features
Messages are stored on Proton Mail servers using end-to-end encryption at all times and are transmitted securely between Proton servers and user devices. This largely eliminates the risk of message interception.
Zero Access to Your Email Content
Proton Mail's zero access architecture means that your data is encrypted in a way that makes it inaccessible to us. Data is encrypted on the client side using an encryption key that Proton does not have access to. This means we don't have the technical ability to decrypt your messages.
Open-Source Cryptography
Proton Mail's open-source software has been thoroughly vetted by security experts from around the world to ensure the highest levels of protection. Proton Mail only uses secure implementations of AES, RSA, along with OpenPGP, while all of the cryptographic libraries used are open source. By using open-source libraries, Proton Mail can guarantee that the encryption algorithms used do not have clandestinely built-in back doors.
Proton Mail in the press:
“Proton Mail is a Gmail-like email system which uses end-to-end encryption, making it impossible for outside parties to monitor.” Forbes
“A new email service being developed by a group who met at MIT and CERN promises to bring secure, encrypted email to the masses and keep sensitive information away from prying eyes.” Huffington Post

How much does Proton Mail cost?
Proton Mail has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 23,583.33 Ft.
If you cancel your subscription, you immediately lose all your benefits even tho you paid for a full month. Literally every other service lets you use it for the full month you paid for except proton …. And of course they don’t refund you because why would they ?
From the start
Hi There,
I am using Protonmail from the beginning.
Reliable and trustworthy mail service provider.
Thats it.

Great app
It is a great softwer, but i miss some features. It would be awesome, if i could send out e-mails hiding my true address. When I am answering a mail that arrived to some generated address, that same generated address should be the sender.
Unusable with iPadOS 16.1 with external monitor
It simple does not work on iPad with external monitor, nothing can be seen on the monitor.
iOS 15 issue
Still a good app, however on iOS 15 (iPhone 11) loads a blank screen upon start. You have to close the app and restart it to load properly. Not a dealbreaker, but quite annoying. Otherwise it’d be a solid five-stars. Any plans to fix this issue?
EDIT: not sure why I’d need to enroll to test some unfinished software in the Beta program as the reply suggested — instead of having my released version fixed at last. Please just release a fix and that’s it. It’s about time some 3 months after the last release.
