A recent update has rendered the initial load time on the app to take forever to open. Please fix this!

It disconnects from HomeKit often and it is really basic functionalities wise in app and on HomeKit. Otherwise when it works then it’s working fine

The app itself is fabulous and controlling the aircon via the app is perfect. However as a device that advertises HomeKit integration it’s extremely poor. It constantly disconnects from HomeKit and becomes unresponsive from Siri. Tado support blamed my router for this which I was able to disprove and then they blamed Apple. I have since purchased a Sansibo device, the app isn’t as good but the HomeKit and Siri integration is 100% reliable.

Had unit for over 2 months but cannot get it to work correctly with HomeKit and Siri. Usually sets to cool house when asking Siri to warm. Does not relate current temp to requested temp.

I bought the v3+ because it has native homekit integration but the functionality on homekit is pretty weak. You are not able to control the fan speed which is really frustrating. Hopefully they provide a software update that addresses this. Also since I paid a lot for the hardware, why do I also have to subscribe to be able fully use it? It is not a good trend. If I am paying a monthly or annual subscription, the hardware should be free.

The functionally is good, works as it says. The most frustrating thing is the TADO app, it continuously logs you out and you have to go back through the setup steps every time. Works fine with HomeKit but you don’t get the full range of AC functionality, like different modes/fan speed etc. If they can sort out the app logging out issue then it would get 5 stars

Every time I open the app I have to sign in select room, geofencing etc. frustrating

I ave had Tado smart ac for a number of years and recently purchased 2nd one it’s been updating for a week and a half and still not working ??!!?? I’m in NZ and was told were along way from the server for updates

Would be nice if a firmware updatable device supported HomeKit. Pretty disappointing that you have to purchase new hardware. I understand you say that HomeKit requires different hardware. However as a developer of HomeKit integrated hardware I have to say this is not true. HomeKit is simply a protocol over TCP/up. This is a marketing ploy to sell more hardware to existing customers.

When it works it’s great, it’s just too unreliable. Still find myself having to reach for the AC remote about half the time.
